Public Goods – Revolutionizing Household Products
$686,748

You'll save hundreds, and soon thousands of dollars a year on natural household essentials as we launch more and more products every month. With Public Goods, you'll get everything you need for your home and bathroom, with zero markup.
Our mission is simple: make healthy products affordable to everyone. We were tired of the feeling at the checkout counter and the tacky bottles at drugstores, many filled with harmful chemicals. So we started our own company, launched our brand, and decided to do things differently.

How? We sell all our products to you, with zero profit! Imagine that. We only charge a small monthly membership fee.
The result is that we can deliver premium products at literally half the price of everyone else, saving you potentially thousands of dollars per year. And on Kickstarter only, we're offering a lifetime membership for a single, one time fee. Once you become a member, you can choose which items you want from our line of natural products and get them at cost.

Savings aside, what matters most are the quality of our products. We began with obsessive formulations, vetted by the most discerning people we know. It took us over a year. We visited over 100 skincare labs. We consulted with experts. Hired the most reputable chemists. And we think you will really like the result: healthy products, naturally scented, cleanly designed and packaged.

In our line of premium natural products you’ll find:
- shampoo
- hand soap
- bar soap
- conditioner
- moisturizer
- body wash
- shaving cream
- razors
- deodorant
- toothpaste
- toothbrushes
- toilet paper
- lip balm
- sunscreen
And we're going to be launching new products every month - from natural home cleaners to biodegradable garbage bags. All our products are healthy, cruelty free, and contain natural fragrance only.

And, we're not stopping with products for the bathroom - we've already developed home cleaners. Later this year we're launching linens. Next year, groceries - all premium, and all at a fraction of the price of everyone else.
And just like we want our products to be kind to you, we also want them to be kind to the environment. We use bioplastics in our packaging, and are always striving to be more eco-friendly. By keeping things local and making our products here in the U.S, we're also keeping our carbon footprint down.

As a thank you to our early supporters, we're offering you an amazing deal. This campaign will be the only time you'll be able to get a lifetime membership. Anyone who joins after the campaign, will choose from a monthly or annual fee. Here's an example of savings.

Our company was co-founded by Morgan Hirsh and Michael Ferchak. And, our lead product advisor is Kim Greenfeld of Trader Joe's and Wholefoods.
Morgan studied philosophy at Concordia. Before Public Goods he ran one of the largest luxury leather goods manufacturers in North America, developing and producing products for top brands such as Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Barney's. With an eye for fashion and a nose for quality, Morgan is an expert product developer, while still being grounded in the nitty gritty of manufacturing. Morgan is an avid tennis player and an amateur magician.
Michael, our COO, studied engineering and Chinese at Dartmouth. Living abroad for over a decade, he became a specialist in product packaging. From sourcing to manufacturing to product testing, he built a wholesale packaging company from scratch that now makes millions in sales. He doesn't like when things don't work, so fixes them obsessively. His college friends remember when he rebuilt a car after it had been through an electrical fire… nobody thought he could do it. He did it.
Kim Greenfeld is a dedicated foodie, and the founder of Campo Verde Solutions, a consulting firm specialising in the organic and natural food industry. Kim has spent over 20 years at retail companies such as Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Markets, and her resume is pretty impressive: when working as the Coordinator of Buying at Trader Joe's, she opened Trader Joe's East sourcing all perishable items from local East Coast vendors. And when she was at Whole Foods she introduced nearly 1000 items in a four- year period, helping Whole Foods expand and build its natural and organic private label.
With their extensive experience in producing premium goods, both Morgan and Michael grasped the inherent inefficiencies in the traditional supply chain. So, with the help of Kim's industry knowledge, they decided to fix it.

So join us today – become a member of Public Goods, and enjoy the best natural products out there at the best possible cost. We can’t wait to have you on board!

Risks and challenges
For the last two years, we've worked with skin and haircare specialists to perfect the formulas for our personal care products. We've already had a successful small batch production run without any glitches. Our relationship with the factories that will be producing our goods is deep-rooted and strong. During production we'll be visiting the factories to ensure that our high-quality standards are met.
If in the off chance there are setbacks, we will always keep you informed with frequent, transparent updates along the way.
