The ORIGO Boat is an innovative, Eco-friendly, full size foldable boat, easy to store and transport. It's 3-meter length when assembled is intended for many personal and professional uses like fishing, leisure, exploring the coast and it is perfect for your yacht as a by-boat.
You can store it in your house or apartment, small garage and even your car so you never have to worry about docking fees. The brilliance of it all is that you can store it practically anywhere. It takes up to 280x25 cm when dissembled and only 10-15 min to assemble it.
With it's air-filled seats and the outer stabilizers The ORIGO Boat is unsinkable. Its performance as a by-boat is better than any 3-meter vessel in its class. The ORIGO Boat was developed with fisherman’s experiences and is very versatile in its performance. You can transport your family to hidden locations, enjoy quiet morning fishing, or have a nice romantic picnic and even sail. Yes, The ORIGO boat can be a sailing boat too.
ORIGO is resilient, lite and very sturdy due to recyclable ABS plastic. It is put together with special screws that do not require any tools and hold all parts firmly together for your maximum safety.
How we got the idea for ORIGO boat? Jure loves developing innovative ideas, as much as he loves fishing. The idea came to him while he was on one of his fishing trips, thinking about how easy it would be, if he could just pack up his boat as fishing gear and take it back home, without ever worrying where to dock it or having a hassle transporting it. And so the idea for ORIGO boat was born.

ASSEMBLY:
No skills are required to assemble and to operate The ORIGO Boat. By following few easy instructions, everybody can enjoy this boat in his or hers own way. All you need is 10-15 minutes and any kind of open waters.
Start with opening up a shell like a book. Use the screws to lock the stern and bow reinforcement. Continue with attaching left and right stabilizer. Final assembly part are the seats, witch are filled with air and this makes ORIGO Boat unsinkable. If you ever find yourself in that kind of situation. As you can see its quite easy and it should not take you more than 10 to 15 minutes to assemble the ORIGO boat.
MANUFACTURING THE ORIGO
The inventor of ORIGO boat, Jure Dolinšek, had the opportunity to work in one of the largest European production companies. Plastoform is European market leader in processing of thermoformable plastic materials, mainly for leisure vehicle and automotive industry.
In this last year ORIGO Team developed a tight collaboration with local-based manufacturers to make sure everything can be produced with care. We went an extra mile and set a goal to check every single ORIGO boat before shipping it. The tests are done. Immense pleasure demonstrated. We are ready. So all our backers can have a peace of mind when it comes to fulfillment. We will maintain realistic time frame for scaling up production. That is why we divided our offers in more then one batches and customized offers for major tourism operators and potential distributors early on.
PRODUCTION SCHEDULE
All parts of The ORIGO Boat are made in Slovenia, EU. Our partners are ready to start producing, and we will start placing component orders at the end of the Kickstarter Campaign.
FUNDING:
Your support will help us fund the first few production runs of ORIGO boat. We have great feedback and we are excited to be able to share the ORIGO boat with you. Our funding goal will cover the extensive tooling and setup costs for producing the components, materials and hardware, and facility rental and labor for assembly.

"Years ago when my kids were just little, I made sure they were around boats as much as the time allowed. Due to our living situation deep in the city, having a boat was very difficult and expensive. Making plans with kids is hard. They want to do so much and with not much notice. So I had to think a way to deliver fast variations of safe water fun/exploring. After years of developing and testing we finally produced a prototype that is fully functional. In this last year we made a lot of friends that helped us achieve the point of development as it is today. The ORIGO Boat is the seed of many beautiful and brilliant minds."

ORIGO PRODUCTS
ORIGO boat as you can see today was a result of years of different ideas, products and solutions. In our old garage we have stored a assemblable 4 meters kayak, water skies that do not need any towing systems, first tryouts of foldable vessel and a big sister of ORIGO, plus many more inventions that all led us to the perfect result and a product that we are very proud of. At first the ORIGO family (Dolinšek) was excited to enjoy the seeds of our own dreams and hard work. We used ORIGO for our own fun and leisure and then started testing it. Every year we upgraded it to fit our many needs. Personal, professional and useful. This last two years our friends and by passers encouraged us to share our materialized vision with the world. You can see all the fun we had with official testing and trying to cause some damage to this beautiful boat. This includes extreme and abusive conditions, to make sure we have a product that meets rigorous safety and endurance standards.
