Cons Against Our Sanity - The Animated Series (Season 2)
After the major success of Season 1, the cast of Cons Against Our Sanity returns with a fresh new look - a bigger con adventure awaits!
This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Mon, October 15 2018 11:58 PM UTC +00:00.
You all blew us away in 2017 by funding our original Kickstarter, "Cons Against our Sanity".
Since then, people have copies of this game all over the globe! It has become the #1 convention card game and has had tournaments at several conventions as well!
We have grown as a community, addressing con issues and topics in a comedic way with our weekly comics, and providing fun animations of them as well. Our Facebook page has garnered thousands of followers, enabling us to become a platform that shines a light on funny and relatable convention scenarios, as well as having a delicate and informative touch when it comes to sensitive topics.
Our goal is to showcase and advertise the convention lifestyle and give it the representation that mainstream media is always lacking. Have you noticed, whenever cosplay culture is in the news or on a TV show, how it's from an outsider's perspective? Seen how cringy it can get?
We bridge that gap, simply by being dedicated cosplayers and fans ourselves from all different genres and walks of life. Our team is a kaleidoscope of interests, experiences and hobbies, so we hope to never pass over a certain demographic in our portrayals. We've had major success in our comics and animations thus far - and we wish to see us grow them with you.
We proudly present: Cons Against Our Sanity - SEASON 2!
We wish to upgrade this season to give you way more than before, both with visuals and content.
Originally, our animated episodes (http://www.kronotiq.com/youtube) were based off of our weekly comics - so now, we want to bring you fresh new content with never before seen scenarios, as well as it being FULLY animated instead of MOSTLY animated. As you can see in the brand new animated opening, the series look has been entirely UPGRADED!
Our mascots want to break out of their weekly panels and into the convention scene - so microwave your popcorn, grab your favorite gacha's plushie, and get ready for more story, action, and laughs in this new season of Cons Against Our Sanity!
Wanna join us?
As you can guess, animation projects are not easy, and we need to have the funding to see our project come to life. We have a dedicated team of animators and musicians who are excited and eager to start this project, and have already finished the storyboarding process for our episodes. We also love giving back to the community, so we are offering many incentivizing rewards for pledging to us and helping make this happen. Check them out!
Besides pledging, the most helpful thing you can do is to share our campaign! Tell your Mom, tell your friends, your pet Goldfish Steven! Every little bit helps tremendously and your support means the world to us.
And to show you how excited and prepared our team is...

Risks and challenges
Animation is incredibly difficult work.
Here at Kronotiq, we are committed to producing and providing a quality product. Animation projects are no strangers to delays. We want to maintain the strong Kronotiq promise of timely releases and deliver this animation on time - and while we do not foresee any possible delays - we are prepared for them should they arise.
Right now, we want to deliver this comedic representation of the cosplay and convention communities, as well as bring to light some unfortunate topics that plagued the con scene, particularly in recent years. We wish to do so tactfully and accurately, and be the spotlight to shine on this unsung population of hundreds of thousands of people.
For a reference of how we handled some of these topics, please check out our ongoing weekly comic: http://www.facebook.com/consagainstoursanity
Without any delay, we hope to deliver an animation worthy of your investment - thank you for supporting us once again!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
