Almost ready to ship!
Good evening, terrific friends! Two quick, cool things:
Last chance to change your address
The printer in Wisconsin is mere days away from shipping the books to me, and then I'll get them into envelopes to mail out to you as quickly as possible. That means this is your last chance to change your address, in case you've moved or are about to move.
The last day to change your address is this Friday, Sept 12.
To change your address, or check whether you've given me your address in the first place:
- Visit https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/490865454/good-and-cheap/
- Make sure you're signed into your Kickstarter account.
If you have not given me your address yet, you'll see a yellow banner at the top of the page that says you need to respond to a survey. Please fill it out ASAP!
If you need to change your address (or check what address you gave me), look for the reward you selected on the right side of the page. It'll be highlighted in green and should look something like this:
- See that little "Your response" link at the bottom? Click it! (On the real page, not this screenshot.) That'll open a window with a yellow banner at the top that says "Need to change your address? Click here."
If you try the steps above and it really won't work for you, you can also submit your address at http://www.leannebrown.com/shipping-address. Please use that form only as a last resort, however — it takes me much more time to double-check everything that way.
Ready to ship to non-profits, too!
I also just finished going through the amazing applications from 379 heroic organizations who asked for donated books, and have emailed more than 90% of them so far to let them know how to order full boxes. I've also emailed another 400 just-as-cool organizations who were too late for the free copies but can still buy copies in bulk at $4 apiece.
So much excitement on both sides — excitement for me to write to all of them, and a lot of excited emails I'm receiving in return!
Anyway, tons of those boxes will be shipping soon too.
If you work with an organization that supports low-income families and have been waiting to order, the non-profit store is now open — while supplies last! They're going fast. (Individuals can still order copies here.)
This isn't the end. Lots more cool news to come! But this is the end of this update.
