This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Sun, May 19 2019 10:37 PM UTC +00:00.
Who Am I?
Hello, my name is Patrick. I am a Father to two kids and a husband. I live in upstate NY, and I currently work at a dairy plant as a supervisor, and do not have the time to develop video games as I would like to. I began to teach myself how to develop roughly one year ago, and Tabletop Royale has became my first game I have made. I have given up on this project once due to time. For this reason i have decided to start a Kickstarter campaign, and if it were to become funded I would give it my everything. I have released the game to a real life friend of mine to attempt streaming it and the feedback I received was amazing and has really been the reason I've continued with it. You have probably heard this before, but donating to this campaign will be donating to my dream and for that I want to thank you deeply.
Tabletop Royale is simply a game that will allow Twitch streamers to captivate their audiences by allowing them to compete against each other on stream.
How it Works
Once the Twitch streamer has began playing their audience will be able to type in the key word that will place the audience member in the match. When the streamer is ready they will begin the match, and will be taken to the room where the battle will take place. After a countdown all the spinners will be dropped into the stadium and battle it out until a winner has been announced. After that its up to you the streamer to decide what to do.
If your asking yourself where will my money go? Well the answer is simple I will be able to spend time towards developing this game. Secondly I am not an artist, but I can do some 3d modeling. The ultimate goal for me would be to find someone that can do this side of things better than me, or put time and money into learning 3d modeling to make much better cosmetics for everyone. If this campaign funds over what I set out for, when released I will be adding more cosmetics likes spinners, rooms, and stadiums.
What if the Campaign doesn't get funded?
If this campaign doesn't get close to funded I still want people that want to play the game to enjoy it so I will be releasing the game to anyone that wants it. All you have to do is email me at email@example.com and when the campaign is over if its not close to funded I will send you a link to download the game in its current state; there will not be support for the game.
If you have any questions or would like to get in contact email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will contact you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your support!
Risks and challenges
My ultimate goal would be to release beta access to all $10 tier donators in August of 2019, and access to everyone in November of 2019. This is realistic unless the game is over funded which in this case I would be adding more to the game which would push the release a little past November, but i will update you with a better timeline at the end of the campaign.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
