There's less than 15 hours left and we're at 30%. So I'm calling it. Not that I want to, but this Kickstarter is over. But don’t worry friends, BOSTON METAPHYSICAL SOCIETY isn’t down or out. We are simply going to regroup after getting some rest and preparing for the holidays.
I will say, though, that each and every one of you is 1000% awesome for getting behind it, and believing in it, and sharing it, reposting, tweeting and blogging. And I want to thank every one of you from the bottom of my heart for backing this project. I was awed by the number of people I have never met who contributed to the Kickstarter. Your belief in this project helps keep me going and for that I am truly grateful.
My husband and I have already started to assemble the parts for the re-launch, which is going to take place in mid-January. And, then just like now, I'll need your help. Our tentative plan is to launch a Kickstarter to print issue three with a stretch goal to print issue four. And I’m pretty sure that the tea reward is going to be in the mix.:)
However, the first thing I need to ask you to do is to sign up for the new mailing list. This will become the main way I'll communicate after-the-fact about things that are very timing-specific. I repeat: please sign up for the mailing list. The Facebook page is still the place to go to see fun things and updates to art and such, but posts there don't get seen by everyone in the group unless you are very active (or pay to have them shown). So be sure to get on the mailing list, and I promise to only talk about BOSTON METAPHYSICAL SOCIETY and related projects on there.
As a reminder, since the Kickstarter project did not make it past the 100% mark for its goal, no money is being withdrawn from your accounts. Your money stays safely where it is. Canceling just means we won't be collecting on the pledges we currently have, nor can new pledges be received. If we were to reboot, we would have to ask you for your pledge again at that time. The Boston Metaphysical Society Kickstarter page will still exist, but only as an archive of the project itself.
Finally, have a wonderful holiday season and we’ll be back next year.
All the best,
Boston Metaphysical Society
