BOSTON METAPHYSICAL SOCIETY needs your help to print the sixth and LAST CHAPTER IN THIS SIX ISSUE MINI-SERIES!!
The year is 1895...An evil from a parallel dimension escaped and now roams the city of Boston. Faced with a new century and new steam technology, the social and political status quo is turned on its head. People are uncomfortable with change and, in fact, many people fear it. That fear and the violence which follows causes a psychic rift to puncture the veil of space and time allowing the entity known as "The Shifter" to escape. Feeding on the resentment and fear between the rich and poor, “The Shifter” triggers a rash of murders. Four of the greatest minds of the time have banded together to try and stop this malevolent entity. Known only as B.E.T.H., they are:
Against their better judgment, they look to a man driven by revenge – SAMUEL HUNTER.
For the one mistake "The Shifter" made was killing Samuel’s wife.
An ex-Pinkerton detective, Samuel gathers his unlikely team of…

and Granville Woods, Scientist Extraordinaire:
They are the Boston Metaphysical Society.
Their job: Stop "The Shifter" before Boston tears itself apart.
INKED COVER OF CHAPTER 6
SAMPLE PAGES FROM CHAPTERS 3, 4 AND 5.
BOSTON METAPHYSICAL SOCIETY is written by Madeleine Holly-Rosing and drawn by Emily Hu.
The art for Chapter 6 is completed and the coloring is over half way done. All that is left to do after that is the lettering and getting it ready for the printers. I anticipate the issue will be done either by the end of the campaign or soon thereafter.
Where the money goes...Your backing would enable us to pay for a print run of Chapter 6 (24 pages, which includes 2 pages of bonus material) which means printing enough copies of chapter six to send off to backers with some leftover to sell at conventions, incentives, shipping (which includes mailing envelopes/tubes, postage and handling.) And, of course, the fees (5% off the top, plus credit card fees.)
The cover will be UV coated to help protect it in shipping as well as giving the color a spectacular finish.
All printing is done by Prestige Printers in their plant in Houston, TX.

Risks and challenges
I successfully delivered all of the rewards from our previous Kickstarters and managed six successful print runs of the comic (Chapter One Special Edition, Chapter 1 - 24 page edition, Chapter 2 - 24 page edition, Chapter 3 – 28 page edition, Chapter 4 – 24 page edition and chapter 5 - 24 page edition). I have also been handling fulfillment through my own website store for over three years. I do not anticipate any problems. However, if there are any production delays or hiccups with the printer, you'll be the first to know.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
