Two Days To Go!

Wow! Huge day today! We started the day knowing that we needed to be at $350,000 by midnight to have a fighting chance, and you guys responded! As of 4PM (here in surprisingly sunny Seattle) we’re at $343,000 backed by almost 7,000 friends.

That. Is. Awesome.

Today I answered about a dozen individual emails that came in requesting a new $40 reward tier for those who wanted both iOS and PC/Mac versions of République and the digital soundtrack and documentary. As of about 2PM, we added that new tier and the response has been instantly positive.

Before we posted it, we turned to you all and asked for naming ideas. Here were some of my favorites:

Even though I wanted to go with last one on the list, I was vetoed:

Our resident artist, Jeremy Romanowski, is often called the "heart and soul" of this team and you can now see why. He wrote this super heartfelt post on Reddit and you need to read it. Even better, read it and then give it an "Up Vote" -- let's make this go SUPERNOVA NUCLEAR:

We thought it would be fun to introduce you all to the team at Camouflaj so you can learn about where they came from and why they’re awesome!

We just wanted to give a big shout-out to the team over at Petrol for these incredible artworks.

These images are super strong main visuals for République and we are so grateful to be working with them. Check out their site – you may be surprised by just how many of the most iconic designs in film and games they are behind. In fact, I worked with them very closely during my time on Metal Gear and we’ve been close friends ever since. (I’m going to test that during E3 week when I try to crash on their lobby couch at night though…)

We had a massive today thanks in large part to IGN’s tweet pointing their half-million Twitter followers to our Kickstarter campaign. Very cool.

My dirty love for the original X-COM has led to me being barred from entering eleven different states across this great nation, which is why I was so excited to see that Xenonauts not only has an estimated ship date of this October, but that they’re also doing a Kickstarter campaign! I pledged money. If you guys have any more spare cash, you should too!

It’s hard to believe, but we’re less than 48 hours until the end of République’s Kickstarter campaign. Let’s keep getting the word out and working with the citizens of the internet to get their support for this project. Our grassroots #KeepHopeAlive campaign is a great place to start:

We believe in this game, in this story and the creative vision of Camouflaj and Logan, and we know you do, too. Please, help us make this game on our own terms, and we will forever take care of you.

Keep Hope Alive!

I will waiting to see something like that)
It is very interesting to know what team are thinking about the whole game, the process of development, what they feeling about their work, and what means this work for them?
and all that not because i am studying at the psychology faculty)

I can not stop repeating how great to see peoples that are so passionate about their work..
working closely together... united by the one idea.
A real fighting for a dream.

I doubled up as well from 20 to 40 right now. Quick question though... I see new $40 tier has a delivery date for September instead of June. Will I still get the iOS version on June at least?

    4. Seth Brown on May 10, 2012

Yeah, I doubled mine to the $40 tier as well. Thanks for adding it. :D

    5. Gordon Miller on May 10, 2012

Thanks for adding the $40 tier, just going to double my donation.

Ok Starlight Inception brought me here = Pledge of $15 and now I find 'Xenonauts".
I love kickstarter but am I the only one who finds it hard searching the site for interesting projects.
