Thank you for considering our project! Here is the breakdown of how we'll use the money:
Location insurance: $2500-$3000
Equipment rental: $2500 (Canon C100, Zeiss CP2 Prime Lens Set) We already own lots of equipment including the Panasonic Lumix GH3 which will serve as our B Cam.
The rest will go toward set decor, airfare for talent, food and lodging.
Post production costs - Music licences and film festival fees.
Remember, Kickstarter is ALL OR NOTHING so unless we raise the full $7500 within 30 days we don't see a penny of it!
Thank you and God bless
Risks and challenges
This project is the most difficult one we've tackled both from a logistical standpoint as well as creatively. We're currently working with the Coast Guard to gain access to the Cape Blanco Lighthouse in Port Orford Oregon for 7 days in March. If we fail to secure this lighthouse for the time needed, we will pursue other location options.
We have a track record of completing the projects we start. When we made our documentary "Two Hats" it was funded 95% out-of-pocket. It was a project that we took upon ourselves and saw to completion in time for our self-imposed deadline.
Again, thank you for considering our project!
