COME RIDE THE WAVES OF NEW YORK HARBOR TO ESCORT THE HARVEST DOME TO GOWANUS

Posted by Amanda Schachter (Creator)

THE HARVEST DOME IS MOVING TO THE GOWANUS CANAL AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!  Harvest Dome - Architectural League - donation link

1. We need volunteers to lift the dome over the ferry launch and onto the barge—about 50ft distance in all. If you are free to help next Tuesday afternoon, October 15, please email us at info@sloarchitecture.com

2. Your donations are essential, yet again. While the Harvest Dome floats serenely in calm waters, transporting the Dome on the tidal currents around New York Harbor must be done by barge, which can be costly. We are therefore reaching out to you now to help us make the Dome's upcoming leg of the waterway journey possible. The Architectural League is our Harvest Dome not-for-profit fiscal sponsor and all donations are tax-deductible. Contributing to making the Gowanus voyage of the Harvest Dome a success is easy, and can be done by clicking on the following link Harvest Dome - Architectural League - donation link Where it says "To earmark your donation to a specific project" please note the project "Harvest Dome."

Thank you!

Amanda & Alex
