And lo, it came to pass that March 3rd, 2016, was remembered in the Peterson house as the morning when I groggily shouted from my bedroom, where I peeked out from under my pillow at my phone, "Hey! Weddddiddit, Jammmeee. Kidzzzzzzzzzzz...."

So now what? Now comes the really fun part. Since you guys have already pledged, the best way to reach the stretch goals (which will allow us to broaden the scope of the short by adding characters and environments) is to SPREAD THE WORD. So far we have 1,528 backers, and there are more than 322,369,000 people in these United States. My hunch is that there's a large number of those people who either 1) are fans of the Wingfeather Saga but haven't heard about the campaign yet, 2) have never heard of the Wingfeather Saga but would love to see a really cool, epic animated series that they can watch with their whole family, or 3) are fans of animation and sea dragons and high adventure and will geek out about what we're making.
You guys have pledged so generously, and at this point the rest of the campaign is not so much about you guys bumping up your pledges (though we won't complain!), but to make what you're already going to get even better. The more people sign up, the more short stories, more characters, more environments, more story we get--just by spreading the word to those 322 million people out there.
Meeting that first goal means we've built the foundation--which is awesome--and now we get to do the framing and the flooring and the roof so that when this campaign is over we can walk around inside something beautiful.
