The Silver River is a rich, full-featured 4X game that takes place in our own galaxy, The Milky Way, known in many Eastern cultures as The Silver River. The playable races included are those that many believe actually exist in our galaxy, each one with different strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. The game plays 1-4 players (5 with the expansion) in 90 to 160 minutes.
The design goal of The Silver River was simple: Provide thematic gameplay that includes all the rich options, and multiple paths to victory that 4X lovers savor, but do so in about 2 hours.

In the middle of The Silver River lays Sagittarius A*, a place from which deadly space monsters emerge. These creatures are usually moon-sized or larger, and provide a great deal of treasure to those strong enough to defeat them. Go it alone, or team up with other players to take them down. Each space monster includes cards to support 3 different levels of strength, and a wonderfully detailed, HUGE, plastic miniature!
Stretch goals reached will apply to all copies of the game that we manufacture. So everyone gets a better game!

Risks and challenges
The biggest risks to delivering by the deadline include:
-Unexpected redesign due to regulatory, manufacturing quality or color issues
-Shipping and logistical issues
-Natural disasters / acts of God
-Unexpected issues with our manufacturer or distributor
-The Silver River is a very large game, but has been in development and play testing for 2 years. Most of the files needed for production are complete, and although we do not expect issues with our timeline, there is always a risk that last minute design changes and testing may be needed if any design or rules issues are discovered late in the process
