About this project
The "Caribbean Heist" Movie project is a motion picture about five women who move to Miami Beach in search of a better life (Ladies from NYC, Iowa, Russia, Dominican Republic and Miami). In Miami the struggling economy makes things difficult for the ladies so they decide to take a few risks by robbing rich business men they befriend that makes millions of dollars illegally. Suspense and drama begins in Miami and ends in St. Kitts where former NBA player of the Boston Celtics Eric Williams gets setup to be robbed by the ladies. Eric Williams is most recently known from VH1’s hit show "Basketball Wives".
ECSMG Media is the company that is producing the project. We recently completed a web based reality show for teenage boys called Generation Next (www.ecsmg.com) directed by Max Sainvil. We decided to produce the Caribbean Heist based on script written by CEO Ernest Ruffin who spends a lot of time in Miami and the Caribbean thought it would be great to leverage many relationships we have in both Miami and the Caribbean to produce a high end quality movie using the Ed Burns, Tyler Perry approach to production which is leverage relationships, use funding smart and have a great production team of film and editing personnel. Max Sainvil will also direct the Caribbean Heist film.We have DVD distribution through Bungalo Records / Universal Studios and have already been marketing the movie on VH1’s mega hit show Basketball Wives which averages 3M – 5M viewers weekly on the show http://ecsmg.com/vh1sbbwivesmovieshows.html click link to view Eric Williams and ECSMG Media CEO Ernest Ruffin on show talking to different cast members about being in our movie project.
Where The Funding Goes
The money goes to production of the project, travel and housing our actors from Miami to St. Kitts and completing production there. We are looking to begin production mid June, 2012 spending 10 days in Miami and 7 – 10 days in St. Kitts. Your donation allows us to enable young, rising actors an opportunity to showcase their talents in cinema. It also gives independent filmmakers like ECSMG Media the opportunity to continue to create good, high quality projects for the masses to enjoy, because of the marketing machine we have in place with going on Basketball Wives and radio, internet radio, blogs and Eric Williams has the opportunity to go on Chelsea Lately to talk about the project once production is complete affords you the opportunity to be part of a project that has a very good chance at succeeding. We thank you for taking part in the process and look forward to The Caribbean Heist coming to a television, Iphone, Ipad, Droid, Samsung near you very soon
