Forced to take shelter, a father and daughter break into a farmhouse concealing a twisted monster.
We open in an unfamiliar, barren landscape, in 1970’s UK. Laura Dunn, a young drifter, and her father John, a long-term, small-fry criminal, have teamed together to steal from a large company. They intend to take a bottle of secret fracking fluid, planning to expose the effects on the planet by selling the knowledge onto the highest bidder. After stealing the fluid, they walk through miles of moorland, in order to remain concealed from the authorities who are searching for them. Caught in a storm, they are desperate to find somewhere to rest for the night. The pair seek shelter in a seemingly abandoned farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. After a lacklustre search, Laura and John settle down for the night, away from the wind and the rain. But in his avarice, John explores alone. Waking to the sound of her father collapsing, Laura goes looking for him, only to be confronted by a mutilated beast residing in the house. With nowhere to hide, Laura must escape the twisted being, or suffer a horrible demise.
Infracktion is a sci-fi eco-horror story set in the moors and farmland in the picturesque South West, dragging its audience down into the dank depths of a polluted farm and the terrible horrors within, preying upon the fear of the unknown and mutilation.
Over the past decade, fracking has become a mainstay of obtaining oil and natural gas. In the US, large quantities of land have been turned over to oil companies to be made into fracking wells. Recently, the UK has begun fracking in Lancashire, along with increasing support from the government to increase the use of fracking for shale gas. Fracking could have the potential to cause large-scale destruction and may be a danger to citizens, and is a complicated issue both environmentally and politically. As creatives, we have set our film in a world where fracking has become a mainstay to obtain natural resources. The chemical used in fracking could be highly toxic, and we have pushed this to extremes in this new world.
Infracktion needs you to help build its world. Being set in the 1970s, we need to recreate this environment by getting the right location and set dressing. Your help with finance will go towards paying for our location, as well as additional props and dressing that we will need for the property. In addition, your finance will go towards building our twisted monster as we are in need of vital prosthetic makeup equipment.

Risks and challenges
Every project comes with risks and challenges. And our biggest on is creating our mutated beast, or as we call it, The Hollow. We have been working tirelessly to create molds, and samples of different designs that we can attach to create The Hollow, and our talented prosthetics designer Libby Kirby has been working tirelessly to make effective and scary designs that will look amazing on camera.
