On the coast of California lies the most exciting city in America. In this place aliens rub shoulders with ancient gods. Robots join forces with those born with strange powers and fantastic abilities. It’s a place filled with heroes and villains, where everyday men and women live side by side with Supremes.
This is Pulp City. Pulp City is playground where all your favorite 80’s action movies, comic books, and cartoons collide. It’s a setting perfect for crazy battles and thrilling heroics. Dastardly villain and large than life heroes are all part and parcel. So if you love any of the above or all of it together you should be in Pulp City.
Pulp City is heroic 32mm Skirmish game where you the player take control of a Team of Supremes and lead them into battle against rival Teams. Pulp City allows you to live out your favorite action movie moments, destroying buildings, throwing cars, saving the innocent, or just pummeling others into the ground.
(Video 2 Warning: YouTube converted this video in a weird way, there are some screechy bits, we'll try uploading it once more)
Pulp City can be played with as few as two models on a side to as many as a dozen or more. Pulp City’s alignment system allows you to create your perfect Supreme team. There are only two sides, Heroes and Villains, although many Supremes walk the line between both. If you like a more focused approach you can choose to collect a Faction of Supremes. A Faction is a more organized and themed group than you might normally see.
Playing a game of Pulp City is fast, furious, and fun. It uses an alternating activation system where models can be activated multiple times in a single Round. This means your next move is always only a moment away. It means your plans can change as you react to your opponent’s actions, but the player who is thinking ahead will still have the advantage.
For the last 24 months the team at Pulp Monsters has been hard at work redesigning our rules. We have been making Pulp City a faster, cleaner, and more fun game. Now we’re ready to release our brainchild out into the world. We decided the best way to do this was to ask you the consumer to help us out.
Your support will enable us to print a brand new full color hardback edition of Pulp City: Supreme Edition. It also allows us to create and print the hundred-plus full color game cards for all of our existing Supremes. Best of all it will help us to hopefully create some fun new models for the Grimm Faction.
As a thank you for backing us your name will appear in the printed rule book. We’re also opening up our stock of regular product to you at a discount to allow you to jump right into the game at a substantial savings.

Risks and challenges
Pulp Monsters has learned a lot about the business of producing a miniatures game since we began in 2007. We’ve made some mistakes and have learned from all of them. Pulp Monsters have restructured and reorganized ourselves to better serve our loyal customers old and new. We’ve come to Kickstarter with a product that is almost finished. The book is ready for layout, the miniatures are ready. We feel confident that we can and will deliver a quality product to our backers.
That said we understand that much or our printing and casting will be reliant on outside vendors. Delays can and do happen. We have allowed ourselves what we feel is a reasonable margin for these delays. We also have picked reliable and experienced vendors that we trust to help us. But with 120+ cards to be laid out and printed, the rule book and quick start rules to be printed and hundreds of miniatures that will need to cast a lot could happen.
In addition we know that a Kickstarter can often become a victim of its own success. We are a small group of gamers who run Pulp Monsters as a second job and hobby. We understand that we’ll be packing and shipping in our off hours and life can happen. What our backers need to understand is our fervent commitment to our fans and to making this the best game it could possibly be.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
