The Silver City magazine contains exclusive articles, interviews, photos, and more!
This Kickstarter campaign is to help raise funds to produce and launch the 2nd issue of the Mad Max fan magazine 'Silver City'. Issue #1 (which is also still available) contains photos of the Australian MAD MAX fan events in 2011, 2013 & 2015. The second issue features dozens of articles and interviews from some of the original cast & crew and dedicated fans across the globe. The funding goal of $1979 (in Australian dollars) represents the year of release of the first Mad Max movie.
For the first time ever, DARK OZ (the producer/publisher) will be offering digital PDF copies!!! Mad Max has a global fan base and international postage is expensive, so I am offering BOTH issues as PDF versions for only $15 (in Australian dollars).
Issue #2 features articles, interviews, news, information and photos from original cast & crew as well as in depth knowledge from dedicated fans, event attendees, replica vehicle builders, and lots LOTS more!!!
The 1st issue (below) contains photos of the Mad Max fan events held every two years in Silverton and Broken Hill, in outback NSW (New South Wales), Australia, at actual locations where the movie Mad Max 2 (aka 'The Road Warrior') was filmed.
This 1st issue was made as a record and souvenir for the fans who attended those events. The magazine has proven to be very popular and sold to Mad Max fans everywhere!!! You can order Issue #1 with this Kickstarter project. Issue #2 surpasses Issue #1 with more than just photos - there are articles, interviews and information on the movies, fans, events, etc. Each magazine is A4 size at 52-pages in full colour on high quality gloss paper.
Please contact me anytime with any questions or queries, if you want to order extra issues or multiple issues and want to know the price - I can create new personal pledge levels just for you and whatever quantity you wish to order, you can increase your order at any time - email me at email@example.com
NOTE - Normally, Silver City Issue #1 sells for $25 & Silver City issue #2 will sell for $20 (total $45), and both PDF's are selling for $15 total. I am offering a SUPER SPECIAL deal with both printed issues for $38, or $50 for both issues in print AND also in PDF format - don't miss out, it's an incredible bargain!

DARK OZ - about the publisher
DARK OZ is Australia's leading indie publisher, featuring over 150 creators. Established in 2009 by Darren Koziol (I'm running this Kickstarter page). I have produced 24 issues of 'DECAY' (a 52-page horror anthology), 7 issues of 'Retro Sci-Fi Tales' (a 52-page fun sci-fi anthology), several other comic books and magazines, and I have already run two successful Kickstarter campaigns (for 'DECAY #24' and 'Retro Sci-Fi Tales').

Risks and challenges
There are NO risks, this is guaranteed to go ahead - I am attending the MAD MAX events in February 2019 and I will be selling the magazines there. I've been producing and publishing comic books and magazines, under the DARK OZ banner, regularly since 2010 and I always deliver quality products on time. There are dozens of people (cast, crew, fans, etc) contributing to Silver City #2, while over 150 creators have contributed to my comic books - they wouldn't put this much work in if I wasn't delivering the goods.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
