The album Vintage Flow, released digitally January 2013, is in need of being pressed up and duplicated for the fans without the web.
The releasing of Vintage Flow depends on your support. Vintage Flow is a Hip Hop album created by underground emcee G-Stylez and producer D.R.K. of the independent record label 8,000 Feet Productions. After a year of hard work and many attempts at coming up with funds to get the album pressed up and ready for distribution they decided to release it for free digitally through bandcamp.com to satisfy some of their fans and supporters. But not all fans and supporters have the internet or any other way of downloading the digital version of the album so they depend on the record stores and concerts to get their copy of the album. At this time the artists cannot afford to meet this demand so now they need your support to make it all happen. 8,000 Feet Productions would like to give their appreciation to all of you out there who support their efforts in any way including just listening and downloading the music. It has never been about making money it has always been about creating quality original music for music lovers who are tired of the mainstream entertainment they hear on most media outlets.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The only real risk in this project is not being able to get it to the listeners before the album is too old to care about but the way to make sure that doesn't happen is getting this fund raising done as quickly as possible and pushing the units extra hard once they are pressed up. Also promoting the release of the album in physical form from now until they are all distributed and holding an album release party are some other things to prevent this from happening.
