Core Setting Book Delivery, Our American Cousins

Hello everybody!

All copies of the World War Cthulhu: Cold War Core Setting Book, the Deluxe Core Setting Book, and Section 46 Operations Manual have been dispatched from our UK warehouse to UK, and european addresses. Some copies have already arrived, if you're in the UK then you can expect to see yours within the next couple of days.

The first batch of “international” orders have been dispatched and the second batch will go today. These are being sent using a business priority service and should be with you in a week or thereabouts.

US copies are shipping across the Atlantic right now, and are expected to arrive with backers in December.

In other news, our World War Cthulhu line developer Scott Dorward is stepping down in order to concentrate more firmly on his own writing work. I'd like to take this opportunity to publicly thank him for his hard work on the line: Scott has had a hell of a year, Cold War has been a beast of a project. We wish Scott every success in the future, and hopefully we'll be able to lure him into writing some more material for us at some point in the future, since we love his writing. Thank you, Scott!

Last of all, I wanted to share some more details on Our American Cousins. Cover art is by Jon Hodgson, logo by Paul Bourne:

Our American Cousins contains vital information on US intelligence agencies and how they interact with Section 46, details of domestic operations, foreign intelligence theatres, secret Keeper material on what's occurring in US cults, as well as two scenarios: Fugazi! And Operation Mamma Bear.

Currently we have two sections in rewrites with our resident historical expert to ensure everything is up to the historical quality we demand.

Here's a selection of interior art by Sam Manley:

It wont be long until it's all heading into layout, approval and then into your hands.

Handing over the Covert Actions manuscript is the last operation for Agent Dorward, so that will not be far behind.

Thank you again for all your support - as ever, if you need any help with anything please drop me an email via Sadly the message system here at Kickstarter is impossible for us to reliably use, due to the sheer volume of spam we receive.

More news and previews on Our American Cousins soon!

Hi CJ - stay tuned - as soon as I know I'll report in.

Steve - We do have a replacement line developer, so things will start moving quicker soon. In deference to the awful time he's been having recently, I didn't feel it was appropriate to announce that while saying goodbye to Scott.

We will also have major Laundry news soon - we have just had the one release this year, but The Laundry has been building up it's strength inside it's cocoon.

Is there anyone lined up to replace Scott as Line Editor or will you let the line go fallow like the Laundry series?

When will physical handouts add on ship? No hurry just curious!
