I very nearly increased my 2,000 to 1 million near the end - then realised it would only take another 19 similar souls to seriously annoy my bank manager, girlfriend, family, bailiffs.

The force was not strong enough in me and I apologise for letting you all down.

Maybe we could start with something simple like a Tractor Beam.
The beam could be handy in the building of a Death Star.

We have no choice, gnut! Our kickstarters can't raise funds of that magnitude!

      Cool beans!!!

The only downside: having to instruct people on my stream about the laws of physics, engineering, and economics...

Kickstarters I find your lack of faith disturbing. Now! Bring me a shrubbery!

If we can't build a Death Star, would it be possible to send someone on a one way trip to a star--thus making it a death star? Perhaps a black hole so that no one will know where they've gone! Abracadabra!

Okay so no DeathStar... How about a rebel base?

I'm all for paying a couple of thousand for a real lightsaber. I'm not greedy.

Perhaps we should have gone for something a bit less ambitious. Open Source Star Destroyer, anyone?
