What’s the film about?
Five years after a simple heist goes awry, a group of thieves reconvene at a cabin in upstate New York, hoping to recover the diamonds they initially stole. Tensions rise as allegiances are made and broken, backs are stabbed and the dirty past is dredged up as the group searches for the diamonds, and answers.
Where are we at?
Pre-production done. Cinematography done. Reshoots and pickups done. Soundtrack and score done. Editing done. Titles done. No kidding. We have just locked picture, and up until this very point, the film has been completely self-financed. Just need a little help to get over the finish line: color correction, sound mix, festival submissions, distribution costs. We have set the goal rather low but, as always, the more we can raise, the more time we can spend on the color, the sound and our distribution endeavors. Our main goal is to have as many people see this film as possible.
We have also already found some minor success, being officially selected into the Knoxville and Orlando Film Festivals. So please consider helping us finish the film and making it as great as it possibly can.
Tell me more about the production.
We shot for a total of 14 days. Ten days in September 2012 in Arkville and Margaretville up in the Catskills Mountains in upstate New York. Three days in October 2012 in Manhattan and Brooklyn. One day of reshoots and pickups in May 2013.
This production was the essence of micro- micro- micro-budget filmmaking. All the actors were SAG, but worked for the guild minimum. Only six crew members, myself as writer/director, one director of photography, one sound recorder, one gaffer, one lighting assistant and an associate producer.
We lived in the location house we rented in the Catskills and everyone pitched in when needed; be it holding the boom, running to get groceries, cooking, and anything else that was needed. It was a true collaboration.

Not that I can think of right now. But please, feel free and ask anything you might need to know. Just know this, if you decide to help us out, we will be eternally grateful to you no matter how much or little you decide to help us out with. Honestly, we truly appreciate it.
Thanks again for stopping by. We truly appreciate it.
Risks and challenges
Here's the cool thing. As mentioned above, the film is done. Just a helpful nudge across the finish line. So rewards will roll out rather quickly. Stickers, buttons and posters will go out this fall, while the digital download and the DVD will be available in Spring of 2014.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
