Update Two - Something's changed!

Somebody’s ripped down our Stretch Goals scroll! (Spoiler: it was us.)

Firstly – Another huge, huge thank you to everybody who’s backed, shared, liked, commented or even simply looked at Project Rap Rabbit so far. We’ve been blown away by the response since we first unveiled Project Rap Rabbit four days ago. Over the last 24 hours we’ve been taking the time to digest all your comments, wishes and feedback, and one request stands out above all others: a significantly lower Nintendo Switch goal.

We want to let you know that we hear you loud and clear. As a result, we are busy re-examining our Stretch Goal format to prioritise a Nintendo Switch version of Project Rap Rabbit above other features.

This is a process we need to undertake carefully and methodically, so please bear with us while we piece together our new plan. We’ll update our Stretch Goals as soon as we possibly can – until then, keep the comments flooding in on social media and here on the Kickstarter page, and we’ll continue to answer all your questions.

If you could lower the Xbox One port requirements as well, that would be great!

Well let's see if the Switch owners will put their money where their mouth is once the Switch version is easier to get.

Awesome news! I really hope to see a full multiplatform release of this game on launch. Switch, xbone, ps4, and pc!

If the switch port takes priority over extra stages Im not gonna be that happy. But whatever, lets see if this actually manages to reach its first goal...

I agree with one of the other backer posters here that the stretch goals should really focus on extending the game's content and options first. "Unlockable stages? The extras you would see when "U'rappin Cool" in either Parappa or in Um Jammer Lammy as those were always real treats to see. Focus on making the game filled with content first, then worry about the platforms being released. I'd personally love to see some nods to Gitaroo Man as I'm a huge fan of it!

I think the buzz around the Switch shouldn't be ignored either though. It's a hot new console and I'm personally enjoying mine a lot and it would be fun to take the experience portable so that it can be shared with friends and family or with other Switch owners. Also I can see some really interesting concepts that could be used with the two Joycons. Imagine two players that are each holding a Joycon like they would a Mic, and it rumbles as they rap / hit buttons or swipe up, down, left or right to choose options while sticking to the beat. That could easily put the Switch version's experience ahead of the other platforms, so I do hope the focus on the Switch is justified with the way the content / gameplay will be delivered as an overall experience.

Either way, I'll definitely be buying it twice, one for Switch and one for Sony since well, Parappa, UmJammer Lammy, Parappa 2 and Gitaroo Man are all on Sony. I'd like to keep a version in the family. :)

I too would like a Switch port, but as Gantann put it below, "I'd much rather have a richer game on a few platforms, than a more basic one on many."

      Either way, yay!

Ah man, I'm disappointed. I was actually hoping the stretch goals would be adjusted to prioritize more game content first, rather than ports. I'd much rather have a richer game on a few platforms than a more basic one on many.

Hey guys, thanks a lot for taking another look at the Switch version. This is something that the community has been talking about nonstop, and we're so glad to see that you're listening. The Switch is the most exciting console out there right now, and Rhythm Heaven fans are definitely wanting another fantastic portable rhythm game experience!

      Can't wait to hear more.

Nintendo Switch should always be a priority when developing a game, now! Let's make it real!

This un-rustled my jimmies and got me to back this at the Phat level. Now we wait...

This is great news! Can't wait for more details.

Will the switch version also be available as a physical one ?
