Valdis Story A.C. is a side scrolling action adventure for P.C. with an emphasis on intricate and rewarding combat as well as deep play style customization. The player will assume the role of Wyatt as they explore the ruins of a holy city that was lost many years ago. Wyatt must battle various types of demons, angels, and a new threat tentatively known as “Ferals” using swordsmanship, martial arts, and sorcery. There are many customizable skills and equipment that will aid Wyatt on his journey.
What's Valdis Story about?
Over 40 years ago the Dark Goddess Myrgato attacked and killed her creator, the All Mother Valdis. Since this event Myrgato has been at war with her twin sister the Goddess of Light Alagath. The war has wreaked havoc on the land and the hope of mankind is dwindling as they are forced to choose a side or perish. Wyatt has been following a trail of clues for the past 5 years left by his father that he believes will lead him to find a way to end the Goddess War.
What does the game feature?
- Intense combat weaving sword and sorcery together seamlessly.
- Equipment and Customizable skills to fit your own unique fighting style.
- Unique magic souls that aid in combat and traversing the ruins of the city.
- Interconnected zones allow you to explore new areas or backtrack.

Endless Fluff Games is a team of two. Both of us share development tasks to create the games we love and make them as great as we can. What's great about that is that we have our hands in every part of the game. Check out our last game, Legend of Fae.
In the past we've done our own music/sound for our games, but we'd like to give that task to someone who's got that discipline down packed. We estimate that Valdis Story A.C. will take 9-10 more months to finish. Your pledges will help fund the rest of development and get us the quality sound and music the project deserves.
The Lost Crew
One of the coolest rewards we are offering in return for your support, is the chance to work with us to design one of the lost crew members. Before entering Sitheil, Wyatt was traveling with Reina, Gilda, Vladyn and Faolan along with 20 other crew members from his ship. When the game starts Wyatt is separated from his crew and can locate them through out the game. The crew members have a variety of skills and backgrounds that you get to help us design. The designs will then become NPCs that are scattered through the game and each one will provide some sort of special attribute ranging from being a special item vendor to unlocking new areas. There are only 20 crew members though so this reward is limited.
More incentive previews coming soon!
The Key Chain! Take mini Wyatt with you anywhere. This is a mock up of what the acrylic printed charm will look like.
The SHIRT! The votes are in and the most popular was #5! So our Kick Starter shirt will be 100% Cotton American Apparel Lieutenant Grey with black and charcoal inks. The shirt art features Wyatt, a bunch of bad guys and the two sister goddesses at the top! Check out the Mock up below!
We will be looking into porting the game to other platforms, but they will not be available on launch with the PC version. A Mac version is most likely be the first port we make.
We've recieved some request for a Linux port so we got in contact with a specialist in porting games to Linux that was suggested to us by a number of you in emails. The engine the game is built does not currently have support for Linux, and we won't know if we will get what we need to make it happen until a few months from now. The first steps have been taken, but this is where the port for Linux stands right now.
If they are possible the ports will take some time, but we will give it our best.
We can not guarantee a Steam release until we go through the approval process, but we are aiming for it.
Yes! The game does support gamepads and you will be able to customize the key controls for the keyboard.
The crew member design is very flexible due to the fantasy setting. We would first send you a form to fill out to get an idea of the character you want to create. If you happen to be artistically inclined you can also provide us with a reference image you created for us to work from as well.
The characters do not all have to be human, but there is a limit on the technology available in this setting. So we can't make a space marine, but we can make a dude and a huge plate suit of armor that wields a bow cannon for example.
