Brian Vogan & his Good Buddies have been hard at work on their fourth studio album, 'Let's Go', but they need your support to finish the project! Pledge now to pre-order a copy of 'Let's Go,' and in the process, you will ensure the group has the funds to mix, master, print, and release their newest work of all original children's music.
Your pledges will also help the Good Buddies to bring creative and diverse music and enrichment to the community in and around Seattle.
In addition to playing benefit concerts for Seattle Children's Hospital and Childhaven, Vogan also works in Seattle as an early childhood music instructor teaching infant through kindergarten aged children at Little Eagles Childcare Center, Paideia Academy and all three Childhaven schools. It is his work with the lovely children of Childhaven that first inspired him to begin composing music for kids.
For the last three years the Good Buddies have donated a disc to each of the children enrolled at the Childhaven schools. By ordering your advanced copy of 'Let's Go' you will help ensure that the Childhaven class of 2013 gets their CD's in time for their graduation celebration! Your kindness will truly help to bring this music to hundreds of disadvantaged children. :)
Vogan's debut release, Little Songs, was hailed by critics as one of the best children's CDs of 2008 and even received a best of the decade nod by Wired Magazine's blog, GeekDad. Vogan's video for 'That's How a Pumpkin Grows' (a collaboration with magnificent Seattle artist Alberto Cerriteno) was voted 'best video' of 2010 on Zooglobble.com.
With his sophomore release, Sing a Little Song (2010), Brian Vogan and his Good Buddies returned with their unique formula of fun, engaging, and eclectic tunes with lyrical themes relevant to children. Sing a Little Song also featured a special guest performance by Rachel Flotard (Neko Case, Visqueen) on the song 'How to Fly.' 'How to Fly' also featured impeccable instrumental arrangements by Jeremy Reinhold.
In February 2012, the Good Buddies released their third album Born to Wiggle, a lively collection of thirteen original songs. The album featured a guest performance by Vogan's longtime friend and musical collaborator Chris Bacon (Volumen, Bacon and Egg) on 'You Can Do It' and 'Capybara.' 'Capybara' also featured a guest performance by Ben Baier (H is for Hellgate, We Wrote the Book on Connectors) on bass.
Vogan's band, the Good Buddies features many notable Seattle musicians including producer Barrett Jones (The Young Evils, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Star Anna, Darkheart, Pearl Jam, etc.), drummer/guitarist Kory Christian (Sugar Skulls), vocalists Kieran Pechter, Libby Molamphy (Darkheart) and Diana Shomstein, bassists Michael Trew (Autumn Electric) and Ben Baier (H is for Hellgate), pianist/vocalist Mikkel Lee Meyers (Darkheart), violinist Julie Baldridge (Sugar Skulls), arranger Jeremy Reinhold and many more...

Risks and challenges
Hello everyone! Brian Vogan here...
A long time ago someone very dear to me taught me everything he knew about music. He tasked me with the mission to spread what I had learned around the world like a wildfire, and I aim to do so.
It is essential that we raise the funds to continue this venture of bringing music to the community of Seattle and King County. From the start this has been a labor of love for everyone involved. I have watched each of my Good Buddies sacrifice their hearts, their time and their energy to fulfill one simple cause...
We aim to pass along the love of music to a few kiddos, and we hope that they carry it in on for generations to come! It is my honor to continue working with the children around the northwest and the Good Buddies and I hope that we are able to continue making quality music for these fabulous kiddos!
You'll see no fancy cars outside of our rehearsal space, but we are all rich of heart to have simply shared our music with so many children throughout the years! To put a smile or two on a few faces is enough to sustain us in our endeavors. :)
The money raised through this Kickstarter campaign will help to fund the completion, mixing, mastering and printing of our album. It will also allow us to donate CD's and live performances to hundreds of disadvantaged children around Seattle and the northwest. We have 30 days to fulfill our goal here on Kickstarter. Unfortunately if we fail to reach it our project will not be funded.
Watching children react to diverse forms of music and art is truly priceless, and we need your help to bring our music to the families in our community and beyond! Please pledge your support to our project and pick up a copy or two of our newest album.
Thank you to Kickstarter for helping so many struggling artists out there.
Thank you for your pledge!
