The smart home is supposed to make your life easier, right? Well, as of now, it’s almost more complicated to manage your smart home and the various connected devices than it was before. That’s why we invented Infini.
We don’t really have to say it, but we will. Smart home accessories are undoubtedly becoming one of the most popular things to buy for your house. The ability to make once “dumb” things “smart” is a convenience we didn’t know we needed until a few years ago. There are a mix of devices on the market, and apps that go with them, but the tedious process of managing all of them needs to be a thing of the past. It’s time to stop settling.

We engineered Infini to be able to work with all of the most popular smart home apps and devices, but we know there are a quite a few people out there who like to develop their own. By offering an open API with Infini, we are able to offer extended compatibility with various smart home devices. The possibilities are virtually endless. You can create apps where you can manage different physical objects or services that work with node.js.

Spotify, Pandora, Uber and Lyft are all internet service apps that we tend to use on a weekly, if not daily, basis. However, at this point in time, we need to get our phone, find the app, open it and choose a song or request a ride.

Risques et défis
Like any hardware project, there are risks associated with manufacturing and supply chain logistics mainly about the timing. For example, there may be comments during certification prototype that require modification of the product and therefore a delay in delivery (especially on the 2-wire power supply).
Despite a rigorous selection of subcontractors, it's always possible to encounter problems of quality at the factory output. We may also encounter problems in sourcing components requiring modification of the product design.
If today, our prototype does not encounter major problems, we can discover problems during the industrialization phase, again requiring a modification of the product.
We will of course keep you informed throughout the process of industrialization.
