Do you remember having to buy all of those three-ring binders for school, and having nothing to put in the outside cover, so you either drew something, or tore something out of a magazine, or used a picture of your boyfriend or girlfriend?
As both a teacher and parent of public school student (she created two of the designs), we saw a missed opportunity on both the school supply and office supply market. Three-ring binders are the top item on most school supply lists for middle and high school classes, yet nothing was on the market to customize both the outside and the inside of that school supply staple.
A set of Binderskins consists of the outside cover art that gets inserted into the cover, and five distinct divider tabs. Everything is printed in the U.S.
We are using some of the nation's top artists -- www.mosidesign.com, www.spacemonkeydesigns.com, and www.swcreatives.com who have come up with original commissioned artwork. Printing to be done by www.pcigraphics.com.
Students today can spend hours on their appearance (males and females alike) whether it be the perfect high-top or the perfect snap back. They don't need to ruin their look with an outdated and bland binder. Now, they can Carry Their Style with their choice of Binderskins.
Binderskins fills the void in the school supply market for the male demographic and for the fashionista females. No more school supplies just using primary colors. No more office supplies with last year's artwork. Our artists have major national clients for a reason and are on point with their freshness and flair.

If you choose to be a backer, we can print the initial run and get the product in stores. Then, the goal will be to expand into other products such as notebooks and folders.
This is what Kickstarter is all about -- giving energy and blood to creative ideas, and your generosity can and will make this happen. You will be part of the story that will put Binderskins into stores and into the backpacks of the 33 million middle and high school students (and who knows, elementary students and office professionals, working at-home parents, etc.?) so thanks, in advance, for your support. Let's make this happen. Thank you.
