Time Cheetah is a webcomic about a time-traveling cat man that punches time criminals in the face. It is NOT a drama.

An action/comedy webcomic that follows the adventures of the eponymous time traveler Time Cheetah. He has the head of a cheetah, wears a suit and tie, and only ever speaks a single word ("RAWR!"). He works for the time policing agency Time Corp. His job? To jump from era to era, stopping criminals from altering our timeline.
It's Doctor Who meets James Bond, except with a dude with a cat head. If you’re a fan of absurd TV shows like Archer or Rick and Morty, this’ll be right up your alley!
Time Cheetah made its Kickstarter debut in 2017. Now it’s time for round 2! New year, new campaign, a new Time Cheetah adventure!
Just like last year’s Kickstarter campaign, we want to collect Time Cheetah’s newest storyline in a single book! It would include "Ford’s Fortune" (52 pages), the mini-adventure "Time Cheetah & The Founding Fighters" (10 pages), and plenty of delightful extras. The goal of this Kickstarter is to raise $6,000 to print a full color 80-page softcover book. You’re gonna put it on a bookshelf, it's gonna look great.
Time Cheetah’s newest tale sees our hero join a secret poker game in 1900’s Monte Carlo, one that holds the fate of the American car industry at stake! He’ll have to bluff his way past colorful suspects, accounting oversights, and a deadly hangover if he wants to save Henry Ford from his own recklessness in… "Ford’s Fortune"!
All these words in seemingly nonsense order ain’t convincing you? Why not check out "Ford’s Fortune" for yourself? It’s all done. Here’s a two-page preview of what’s in store:
*Yes, Henry Ford shows up eventually, we swear.
"A violent and profane battle across history, Time Cheetah is everything you've wanted from every action movie, ever!"
Zander Cannon - Eisner Award-winning Writer/Artist (Kaijumax, Heck)
"Destined to be an animated TV series, Time Cheetah is a reading joy—full of fun, action, and witty dialogue. The only thing I was sorry about was the TIME... it ran out and I finished the story!"
Beau Smith - Creator and Writer of Wynonna Earp
"One part James Bond, one part trip to the zoo, Time Cheetah is a rompin’ good time. With belly laughs and art on par with today’s best titles, what’s not to love? RAWR!”
Lora Innes - Writer/Artist (The Dreamer, Wynonna Earp)
"Time Cheetah is a fresh, fun amalgamation of 80's movies, cartoons and not just one but seven heaping bowls of sugary cereal. And when a sharp dressed time-traveling cheetah, a dude that looks like Sean Connery as Zardoz, and an A.I. Stalin AREN'T the weirdest thing in this comic, then you know its a MUST READ!"
Andy Suriano - Artist (Rise of the TMNT, Cosmic Scoundrels, Samurai Jack)
"Time Cheetah is the secret agent for our times. He's stealthy, savage, and he's right here in this room holding a knife to my throat demanding a press quote. Please, help."
Jim Zub - Writer (Avengers, Samurai Jack, Wayward)
Hey, we don't expect you to just GIVE us your money for nothing! Here are the sweet Rewards we got, with full descriptions in the reward's sidebar. All physical rewards include shipping anywhere in the U.S. Please note: International shipping only available for some tiers to Canada and U.K.
You know what’s better than getting funded? Getting EXTRA funded! And if we do get extra funded, then we gotta share the wealth. Though all physical tiers get a little something as we go along, tiers that are $40 and up get plenty of good stuff as we hit these goals!
In early 2017, we ran our very first Kickstarter campaign, collecting Time Cheetah's first adventure—"The Secret of Stalin Island"—into a softcover book. And you know what? Y’all blew us away by funding us and helping us make almost 200% of our original goal!
So for the rest of 2017, my brother Alejandro and I busted our collective humps to ensure we got the book and the myriad rewards and stretch goals printed, prepared, and shipped out to hundreds of backers. Through the magic of hard work and time dilation, we got everything out before the end of 2017. A heartwarming tale fit for a bedtime!
After all the love we got, we had to do it one more time: we’re back on Kickstarter to keep this weird, fun idea going and give anyone who missed our first campaign the chance to join in on the gorgeous art and dumb jokes.
Using some fancy magic (budgeting), we arrived at this amount to account for printing 750 copies of the comic book. Anything over the funded amount will go to improving the actual book first, then extra rewards and material, then any left over will go to the creative team.
Carlos Guzman is one of the writers and co-creators of Time Cheetah. He worked in comics as an editor at IDW Publishing for 8 years and edited series such as Transformers, G.I. Joe and Samurai Jack. And now you get to support his very own comic, how about that? You can follow him on twitter, @Rufio_420.
Alejandro Verdugo is one of the writers and co-creators of Time Cheetah. He's Carlos' brother and has foolishly believed in this idea the whole way. Currently, he helps keep this entire enterprise from collapsing in on itself.
Matt Cossin is the artist and co-creator of Time Cheetah. He's done covers, colors, and comic art for publishers such as Humanoids, Devil's Due, Insight Studios Group, and Boom! Studios. He also created a graphic novel mini-series of his own, Flywires, with writer Chuck Austen. Now working on Time Cheetah, Matt is also writing scripts and has other comic projects in the works. Check KingMakersComix for the latest info on them!
Mikey Cossin is the colorist of Time Cheetah. He's been coloring comics professionally since 2004 and making his own since grade school. He also hits his deadlines, so he's great in our book! If you would like to stalk him or his comics work, do so at KingMakersComix. Peep his dope T-shirts, too!
Tom Long is a letterer extraordinaire, with the daunting task of putting this comic into book-form and rendering one RAWR in many different fonts. You can find him on his twitter, @tombgrfx.
Samantha Barlin is a graphic designer and illustrator based in the San Diego area. She's responsible for designing our cool merch and our dope books. Check out her sweet art on instagram!
Risks and challenges
The comic is written, drawn and lettered, ready to be printed! We've already completed a Kickstarter campaign with similar goals and rewards, so we know we can get this one done.
As with any creative project, there is a chance of delay due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. sudden death). The delivery date of all backer rewards is an estimated date that hinges on printing and delivery.
We'll keep all backers updated on the progress of the project and we’ll ensure that everyone gets what they paid for!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
