Shipping Date Set
We have good news to report! After speaking with our manufacturer, we are happy to say that Dream Heist will finish production no later than December 12th. We were hoping to have it done a little earlier but due to this being the busiest time of year for game makers, it is still a couple weeks out. In the meantime, we are going to do everything possible so that we can begin shipping the minute the games are assembled. This is where we could really use your help to make it a smooth process…
As many of you have already seen, surveys went out asking for shipping addresses. Please be sure to respond to those as soon as possible so that we can start building a database for shipping labels. We still haven’t heard from about 100 backers.
For those of you that ordered briefcases with your game, your survey was sent out a while ago. We understand that your shipping address may have changed since then. Please be sure to click on your survey from your reward tier and make sure that your address is up-to-date. We are allowing address changes for all backers until December 1st. At that point, we will lock in the surveys and will use the address you have provided. You will not be able to change your shipping address after December 1st.
We have heard from a few of you with regard to receiving the game in time for Christmas. While we are going to make every effort to see that everyone receives their game before Christmas, realistically, this may not happen—especially for international backers. Here’s where we are asking for your help as a backer community:
Please send us a message through Kickstarter by December 1st (not a comment on this update or the project page because those are difficult to track) and let us know if your copy of Dream Heist was planned to be a Christmas present. We are going to send out the copies of Dream Heist that were intended as Christmas gifts first. This doesn’t mean that if yours isn’t a gift it will go out weeks later. It simply means that yours will be shipped later that day or perhaps within a day or two of the first batch. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but when you’re shipping this time of year, a day or two could be the difference between a wrapped Dream Heist box under the tree and a sweater vest.
Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving,
Reid and Bruno
