name is Morgan Alexander and I started Tacoma Brewing with one goal in
mind: to supply Tacoma with tasty high-quality craft beer. From
bourbon-oaked imperial stouts to pomegranate porters to citrus-crisp
double IPAs, I am happy to create craft beers that push boundaries of
what beer can be.
Since we tapped our first keg last October, we have learned one thing from our customers: TACOMA IS THIRSTY! And we want to help! This is why we are doing this Kickstarter and asking for your support.
While the current location at the Amocat Cafe works fine for serving our beers, the space is really not suitable for brewing. To remedy this, we are working on securing warehouse space and upgrading our equipment for additional brewing capacity. But even though we are staying small, stainless steel brewing equipment is very expensive - not to mention the costs of commercial plumbing and electrical work. With your support, we will be able to purchase larger kettles, mash tuns, and fermenters - so that we can make more high-quality beer for Tacoma.

From talking with others that have completed successful Kickstarter campaigns, I have designed the follow-through on my Kickstarter to be easily accomplished.
