Any chance of a possible update on shipping dates in the US?

    2. Creator Darrell Stone on November 1, 2012

So the game is coming to me in November. My birthday is the 8th hope to get it around then. Would be awesome.

    3. Creator John Rhinehart III on October 29, 2012

Will you guys be at BGG con? or at least ave a game there that i will be able to demo?

    4. Creator Mick leach on October 27, 2012

    5. Creator Carroll Best on October 26, 2012

airsonist, pleeeeeasssee, we need a review. Maybe pictures, yes pictures. The other games can wait, I'm sure there aren't hundreds of people waiting for your opinions on those games. Just think, you have everyone waiting with baited breath. YOU have everyone's attention!! You have it in your power to appease 959 other people. Just think of it!! We need ( I mean want ) your opinion on this game. Please do the right thing. A review, pictures, etc., would make you a hero to all of us!! So take your time and hurry up!! Give us a ton of info on the game. Thanks for your time!! :)

    6. Creator airsonist on October 25, 2012

I was at Essen at picked up my copy. Elad wasn't there (at all or at that day, I don't know) but I had a good rule explanation and short demo round with his father in law.

They did not have many copies (under a hundred I think) most (all?) for pick-ups.

The board, cards, dice all look gorgeous. The board is huge, but the color was a little too pastel like. I would have preferred the prototype board they had there, which had brighter colors.

But all in all, I'm very happy with the material quality and the first impressions.

I do not know when I will find the time for a full play, just too many games from Spiel :)

    7. Creator Adrian Lovelace on October 25, 2012

i wish i didnt want the minis soo bad... it sux waiting an extra month+ lol

    8. Creator จ่าสิบเอก บารอน ซิมิ on October 24, 2012

I already back 3 project and 2 of them really delay by 2 or more months
I hope this project will not delay that much

    9. Creator Mick leach on October 24, 2012

      thanks man much appreciated :)

    10. Creator Matt S on October 23, 2012

@Mick That's awesome for the extra publicity and all of the Essen pickups. Hopefully that will not delay the rest of us. On a side note congrats on the successful campaign yourself.

@All Anyone who picked up theirs at Essen, Give us the low down on what you thought.

    11. Creator Mick leach on October 23, 2012

Elad was indeed at Essen and the Game sold out!!

    12. Creator Adrian Lovelace on October 23, 2012

      cant wait for some updates!!

    13. Creator Niels on October 23, 2012

      @YaVerOt:
I think the issue at the moment is that Elad was at Essen and thus pretty much occupied. We will probably get an update soon.

Did anyone here get their copy of the game in Essen? Any first plays etc?

    14. Creator Adrian Lovelace on October 22, 2012

      Is it December yet?

    15. Creator YaVerOt on October 22, 2012

      @Jarlis
That is "when" not "how", my question is on how they're getting around KS's one-survey-only policy to get my address in order to ship. The "when" in my question is because it was asked quite some time ago and GEG appears to be ignoring it.

    16. Creator Jarlis on October 17, 2012

      @YaVerOt
If look further down in the comments they did answer that question 5 days ago.
"We will attend to gather shipping information from the rest of you closer to shipment date, later in November."

    17. Creator YaVerOt on October 16, 2012

The system is getting pretty insistent about answering the current worthless survey. Any idea when Golden Egg Games will get around to answering the question on how they'll get our shipping addresses for delivery?

    18. Creator Golden Egg Games on October 16, 2012

@ Frederik, when I estimated the 80$ pledge I took into account one shipping cost, that will be made in December when all stretch goal will be produced. You are welcome to visit as and see the very first copies of the game in play. Thanks for understanding.

    19. Creator Frederik Suijs on October 16, 2012

I have the $80 level, but essentially it is the same as the $49 + the $35 minis right? So why isn't there a Essen pick up option available? I'll walk by the booth anyway to check out the game and hopefully pick up copy :)

    20. Creator Anders H. Pedersen on October 15, 2012

@John - the designer will be making an update on that issue before we have to order any.

    21. Creator Matt S on October 14, 2012

@John I would suggest an extra of any of the monsters. Plus the mobs could be used for any other game that you need minis for.

    22. Creator John Rhinehart III on October 14, 2012

So for those out there getting the minis, i would like to know which of them are you going to use your free extra mini on? i can't seem to decide and was wondering what other thought would be the wisest choice.

    23. Creator Fernando on October 13, 2012

Please, I need to know if a should introduce my name or the name who will collect the game in Essen for me

    24. Creator Kopernikus on October 13, 2012

As you have said in the update, the Essen pick up will be just for the base game, all other rewards will be sent at a later date. Will out of US backers have to pay delivery and was it mentioned before end of funding that the rewards will be not available at Essen?

      -Nick

    25. Creator จ่าสิบเอก บารอน ซิมิ on October 12, 2012

what is Kickstarter only goal ?
(or are they same from retail ?)

    26. Creator Mick leach on October 12, 2012

Rodney there is a follow up to this game coming that is more miniatures related with vast more amounts of minis.the first 12 is just a start.

    27. Creator Fernando on October 12, 2012

      Hi Elad,
There is a Guy who will collect the game for me in Essen, should i introduce his name in the survey ? (the survey ask for MY name, not for the name who will collect). Any way, i havent his email, he is a salesman of a game's shops, the mail i have of him is the mail of his shop.
      Thanks.

    28. Creator Rodney Varney on October 12, 2012

I want to be and sure and start this comment by saying, I'm very excited about getting this game. I got in as an, "Early Bird" and, have celebrated each stretch goal reached. However, the minis have held no interest for me. I'm not apposed to minis in general (I did end up spending around $1000 for my War of the Ring Collector's Edition) when they play a part in the actual game. Personally, I would have rather seen the entire minis and mini dungeon crawler as its own follow up Kickstarter project. In fact, I probably would have been more likely to fund it, if it had been presented as such.

I know I'm probably not in the majority with this opinion and, I'm well aware that the game I'll be receiving is well and above the value of the measly $39.00 I've put into the project's $66,087 total. However, I do wonder if the minis are going to be the cause for eventual delays and, I also wonder what other cool stretch goals Elad would have come up with if this project had only been focused on the core game.

Again, just want you to know I'm seriously EXCITED to get this game in my hands. I just thought you would want and value everyone's true opinions.

    29. Creator Gordon Griffith on October 12, 2012

      Elad,
Too many stretch goals achieved is a great problem to have, but it means you have to work harder.
I pledged at the $39 level then added $35 for the minis. I got a survey, I hope I will still get a survey at a later date.
Have a great time at Essen and worry about this other stuff later.

    30. Creator John Rhinehart III on October 12, 2012

Thanks for the update. I want the best game you guys can turn out. Having to wait a week or 2 extra is no problem, to ensure a great quality game. Hope you guys keep working hard. Can't wait to play.

    31. Creator Golden Egg Games on October 12, 2012

We will attend to gather shipping information from the rest of you closer to shipment date, later in November.

    32. Creator Leonardo Prunk on October 12, 2012

But a lot of people pledged on these levels and are not picking the game at Essen, how should we proceed then to answer the survey or to submit our addresses later? Thanks.

    33. Creator krist2 - Weresheepherder of Original Sin on October 12, 2012

The survey was sent only for the pledge levels eligible for Essen pick up (39$,40$,49$,60$,75$,90$ and 100$ only). All the other pledge levels will receive a later survey, for shipping information.

    34. Creator Jim Grimley on October 12, 2012

I have not gotten a survey yet either, I would say just "relax". They are probably doing them in bunches, and they certainly have a lot of them to get through. If we are really getting this game by November, I would be very impressed compared to most Kickstarter projects I've observed. He'd certainly have my support for future projects if manages to pull that off.

    35. Creator John Rhinehart III on October 12, 2012

I haven't received the survey either. So who knows.

    36. Creator จ่าสิบเอก บารอน ซิมิ on October 12, 2012

      Why I don't have even Survey ?
I check my mail and junk box too.

    37. Creator Gordon Griffith on October 12, 2012

I am having the same problem as @Ivan and @Saluga, the survey asks which delivery I want, when I choose mail, as I live in Texas, it then asks me for my Name and email.

      HELP, HELP, HELP

Love that I pledged this game

    38. Creator Stephen Saluga on October 12, 2012

I did the same thing as Ivan. From what I've heard with other Kickstarter projects, they're only allowed to send out one survey once. They might have to private message all of us.

    39. Creator Christopher Boat on October 12, 2012

Yea, survey never asked for my address. If it's using an Amazon.com address by default that may be a problem, since I'm moving in two days...

    40. Creator Jeremy Williams on October 12, 2012

I just used the Email line to type "Not essen - ship to MY ADDRESS".

      Cant. Wait!

    41. Creator krist2 - Weresheepherder of Original Sin on October 12, 2012

I think they get the shipping information from amazon, but not sure

    42. Creator Christian on October 12, 2012

I did not get a survey email. Do they send them out in batches?

    43. Creator Peter on October 12, 2012

      Yep, same.
I just put 'Not At Essen' in it as it was only for Essen people

    44. Creator Ivan Pratama on October 12, 2012

Same for me, it was only giving me option to give name and email adresses, so i put my complete address anyway in that small box.

    45. Creator Ryan Lorence Syfargo on October 12, 2012

Hi! As you are only allowed to send 1 survey, how will you collect our shipping information? :)

    46. Creator krist2 - Weresheepherder of Original Sin on October 12, 2012

This is the text on the survey:, even though I choose shipment it wants med to fill
      inn Name an email..

How do you want to receive your rewards?
I wish to collect my game at your Essen booth.
I wish to get the rewards by shipment.
If you chose Essen Pick up, please state your name and e-mail address.

    47. Creator Pat Toohey on October 12, 2012

I just filled out the survey and even though I selected that I wanted the product shipped to me, the survey forced me to put in my name and email address for Essen pickup, so I just put them in anyway...

    48. Creator จ่าสิบเอก บารอน ซิมิ on October 12, 2012

      Thank you

      and what is Kickstarter only
(or are they same from retail ?)

      thank

    49. Creator Niels on October 12, 2012

Will the shipments of the game and the minis be split up or will I get everything in December?
