No because polarized lenses have a base tint of over 50% so if you would sit with them in a dark room things would get considerably darker so they are not a good fit for our all around eyewear that marries the benefits of high-tech computer eyewear with the best uv protection one can get. You wouldnt be able to drive at night with them as well.
Pretty much all digital screens also have already polarization filter so two of them result in completely blacking out the screen. Obviously another big no for computer eyewear.
Yes, you can! As a guideline in Germany any lenses with a base tint of less than 20% is considered save to use at night. Our glasses have a base tint of 10% so they are perfectly fine to be used at night.
