About

"Healing Our Heroes" will chronicle numerous veterans across the country as they benefit from the advances of various stem cell therapies. In each case study, we will explain who each veteran is, how he or she served our country, their diagnosis, their treatment plan and their recovery process. Recent stem cell studies have proven that positive results occur within very short periods of time and have not only made significant health improvements for veterans, these therapies have literally saved lives. The ultimate goal of this project is to shine a positive light and to give hope to wounded veterans. The film will show that our veterans not only deserve a healthy life Part Two, but also that there are people willing to ensure they receive the best modern medicine available.

With the proof positive shown with cinematic results we will inspire veterans to seek help and inspire doctors and facilities to provide services at no expense to the veteran population.

HOW IT WORKS :

Autologous Adipose-Derived Adult Stem Cell therapy is changing the face of modern medicine. With conventional medical treatments (drugs and surgeries), there is very little that can be done to treat and cure Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and CTE or improve the quality of life for those who suffer from TBIs. The great news is that there is a growing body of evidence with impressive results treating TBIs utilizing stem cell therapies using adipose stem cells. Adipose-derived stem cells are found in abundance in the body’s fatty stores of the abdomen, buttocks or thighs. They are easily accessed and have been found to be a particularly potent type of regenerative stem cell, capable of differentiating into a wide variety of tissues, muscle, bone or cartilage according to the body’s needs. Excitement is building.

ROGER SPARKS CASE STUDY #1

After 25 years of military services – first as a Reconnaissance Marine and then as an Air Force Para-rescue Jumper, it’s a miracle that Roger has survived so much combat. In fact, he is within a small percentage of combat veterans within an even smaller percentage of men who have experienced an enormous amount of actual combat. In just one battle called “Operation Bulldog Bite” Roger saved five lives and returned four dead heroes killed in action to their families. He was honored with the Silver Star for his incredible bravery. As result of tremendous trauma, Roger suffers from severe TBI and has broken many, many bones in his 6’8” body. Roger has already received initial stem cell treatments for both of his knees with very positive results. He is encouraged that not only can his bones be healed but that with treatment his brain will not degenerate any further, and that it can possibly even regenerate.

In addition to helping our veterans it is only human to offer treatment to their families: Roger Sparks Case Study #1 is the perfect example where compassion is truly deserved and incredibly needed. In addition to all of Roger’s injuries his son Oz suffers from cerebral palsy and Type 1 Diabetes. As a result of a military event Roger was left  with a broken back. After surgery he was told he would need to lie at on his back for approximately three months. On his first day home, a four-month old Oz Sparks had stopped breathing during a nap and had no pulse. Despite being in a drugged stupor from surgery Roger sprung into action. Roger performed CPR for 10 minutes saving Oz’s life. Fast-forward 2 years later Oz was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a result of oxygen deprivation during the traumatic event. To add to this complicated equation Oz was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, which requires constant glucose regulation and insulin injections multiple times everyday. Neither cerebral palsy or Type 1 Diabetes is curable but there is an alternative, revolutionary approach to lowering your blood sugar levels, and will lessen the need for insulin injections and medications. Studies have shown improved glucose regulation and even improved kidney function following stem cell therapy.

ROGER SPARKS JOURNEYMAN Never has there been a medical breakthrough emerging that can actual help the lives of suffering veterans. The obvious short-term goal is to get as many veterans treated with various stem cell therapies at no cost to them. The bigger picture goal is to generate awareness to a mass audience. Roger will travel across the United States researching and meeting with stem cell scientists, researchers, and clinicians. He will meet with veteran organizations focused on Healing Our Heroes and uniting those in need with those who can not only create hope but also provide real solutions. Further, during this process Roger will become an incredible advocate for the veteran population and will meet with top military and government officials to discuss healthcare policy issues. All of the statistics regarding veteran outcomes with traditional drug treatments are terrible. The most terrifying statistic is that 22 veterans a day are committing suicide. at’s 22 men and women going back to Vietnam and even World War 2 and the Korean War are choosing death over life. Doping them up with medications and feeling bad or guilty isn’t good enough. We NEED to serve them better and if stem cells can be part of solution then lets help Roger pound the pavement and bang on some big doors. After all, a 6”8’ Hero is a commanding presence and a perfect personincation of American endurance and perseverance. Roger’s words: “At the end of the day, all that matters is your resolve and your intent.” His ideology not only kept him alive on the battlefelds, it helped him save close to 300 lives – as per his military records.

NORTHWEST PAIN RELIEF CENTERS... ...to the rescue! Our first inspirational partnership is with Dr. Kyle Bergquist and his Northwest Pain Centers based throughout Alaska and Washington states. is relationship is at the center of our first Case Study because Kyle just recently opened a facility in Anchorage, Alaska where the Spark family lives! Sometimes the universe smiles a little and brings kind-hearted warriors together. Roger served on the front lines of many war battles and Kyle is now serving on the front lines of making stem cell therapies become part of commonplace medical treatments: it may only be a matter of time before these therapies are routinely implemented. It is glaringly obvious that the future of 21st Century medicine is stem cells and fortunately, there are doctors such as Kyle who want to help as many people as possible, as soon as possible. To that, Roger’s knees are already on the road to recovery and both he and Oz underwent their stem cells harvested and processed for long-term treatment. The results have been very good. This is at no expense to the Sparks family.

PROGNOSIS Our Film "Healing Our Heroes" will be part the stem cell medical revolution and our participation in this important conversation will be centered on veterans and their families. As with all modern medical advancements, procedures will be initially expensive and not covered by most insurance companies. In turn, the economic implications of utilizing our own body chemistry without needing a multitude of life-long medications to heal patients is very disruptive. We have dedicate ourselves to battle any industry willing to put profit before Healing Our Heroes!

Risks and challenges

This project was grown completely organically and every person involved feels an overwhelming sense of purpose to push this agenda forward. We know the movie will get made. The risk is that people feel good for awhile and want to help and then lose momentum and forget that 22 veterans per day are committing suicide. The only risk is inaction. We owe them more and if we can't do it together than no one will.
