A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.
Appearance, function, and manufacturing methods match the final product.
Your child has other plans? "I don't want to..." - a phrase that you hear over and over again? Many parents have to deal with sudden spells of stubborn streaks before going for a walk or putting on clothes, refusal to take a nap, and a plethora of other situations when a kid declines the reasonable requests of his/her parents.
Here are some of recommended methods for parents:
❌ Make a cleaning schedule. As an option, a child can do a full cleaning session once a week, and put the toys back in the closet every day.
❌ Stick some funny pictures on the shelf, lockers and boxes so he/she will know exactly where to put his/her favorite ball or doll.
❌ Teach your child to make his/her bed is the right step to keep the cleanliness.
But these techniques WORK ONLY IN THE THEORY...
We were very happy to find a genuinely working methodology and tested it on our own and friend's kids!
Okid Day Planner is a toddler-related product that accelerates a child’s development and helps them be more organized, focused and independent. Children will be able to independently plan their day, follow the tasks and gain time-management skills.
Also, we received a lot of positive feedback from psychologists, therapists and parents of children with special needs (AD/HD, ASD). In this case, visual materials and schedule are used for two main reasons. They help to learn to perform orderly activities independently, as well as help parents better communicate with their children.
Thus, this is the way to help your child live through the ‘age crisis of 3’. Psychologically, it gives a little boy or girl, a motivation to do these activities and to head to another in a step-by-step manner. This gamified solution allows for combining a child’s energy with educational child-rearing.
The peculiarities of children's thinking begin at an early age:
The Board is divided into 3 sections for morning, afternoon and evening. Each section has 6 x windows for 6 x possible activities. After completing the activity shown on the card a child should close the appropriate window.
Each section can be simply detached, so you can start from the one and add other sections as required.

Risks and challenges
Risks are low. We have a lot of experience in creating publishing projects for kids in the physical space. Above all, we have a network of trustworthy, talented artists and designers we have been working with for the past 2 years.
Everything needed to kick off the manufacturing process is complete. Great care has been taken to finalize the supplier. The design and prototyping are done and all materials are in place. It’s just a matter of giving the printery the green light.
We will keep you posted on a weekly basis, and in the event of unexpected issues, we will work incessantly to minimize the impact on delivery.
