Mexican Rhapsody / I Wanna Help

Posted by Randall Goodgame (Creator)

Welcome to the Slugs & Bugs Kickstarter site! This is the place to help us fund this project and order new Slugs & Bugs music at the same time. Check out the tunes we have recently completed and if you like it, we hope you'll scroll down and place an order - and then pass this link along through facebook or twitter.

Mexican Rhapsody was born when Andrew Peterson was driving his family to go get Mexican food at Las Palmas. AP's sons Aedan and Jesse started singing "cheese dip, cheese dip" and made up a song to express their hunger.  Andrew and I finished it a few days later with some inspiration from Bohemian Rhapsody.

My son Jonah inspired I Wanna Help.  When he was 5, his favorite song was the rock anthem, "We Will Rock You".

But back to the kickstarter stuff... we have many tiers to choose from, so in return for your preorder, you can receive exclusive extras and deep discounts - especially for bulk orders. (Slugs & Bugs CDs make great birthday and baby gifts).

So, now for your listening pleasure,  here's Mexican Rhapsody and I Wanna Help.  If you like these songs, feel free to forward the silliness to someone you love.

Mexican Rhapsody makes me homesick for Texas. Which is notable as I'm from Australia.

Caught my 5 year old dancing along to the beat, I'd say he liked the song :)

(I thought I wrote this yesterday) My 6 y/o son belly laughs at Mexican Rhapsody. Wonderful stuff.

Wow. Our 1 and a half year old Sadie danced to it all and loved it! She was marching to "I Wanna Help". And "I Wanna Help" fits our Abigail to the tee. We love it! Can't wait to let her hear them when she comes home from school.
