Update #21 - New Release Date & Beta Tests

Hello Monochroma Backers, It’s been awhile but here we’re again. As you all know, we’ve been expecting to release our game in December 2013. However, due to some unexpected problems, we were unable to complete our game in time.

We’ve delayed the new release date to March 2014. If all goes right, we’ll present you the final game in 2 months for PC (Windows, Mac and Linux). We’re receiving many messages regarding this issue, but we all want you to assure that we’re doing our best to publish the game as soon as possible. All our team is as passionate as you and dedicated themselves to deliver the game at its finest quality. However, that’s not all. We’ll be starting our beta tests by the first half of February 2014 and you’ll soon be informed about this process. Stay tuned. Additionaly, the illustrator Samuel Nordius has also completed his illustration on Monochroma and we’re glad to share it with you:

The next part we want to remind you are our social media accounts. We’re updating them daily and trying to establish more solid community. You can find the related links below in case you want to join us:

Like everyone else has said, it's better to delay it a little bit and release it properly than to rush and release a half baked mess. Also, thanks so much for keeping us posted about everything. I also wanted to ask, even if it means getting it later, will it be possible to get this for the Wii U since you mentioned support for the platform?

      Don't rush.
      Quality first.

Thanks everyone for your comments. @Domme We promise to be more active from now on. We're about to enter to last stages of Monochroma and we are aware that it's your right to know what is going on

Thank you for the heads up and take your time where necessary. But it would been nice to hear more information about the reason for the delay and it would not hurt to hear about it a bit earlier.

Its better to finish the game how it should be and take extra time then releasing an incomplete game to meet the deadline

Thanks for the update. I'm really looking forward to playing. Don't worry about the deadline. I would rather play a great game that was "late", than an unfinished game that was released on time. Take your time. Make it great! :)

Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to the final product, and will be waiting patiently. Cheers everyone for the hard work.
