The UK’s largest contemporary print fair will run 17-20 November 2016 at the Royal Arsenal Riverside in Woolwich. Curated by Brocket Gallery London, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair will sell original, affordable prints alongside demonstrations, artist tours and advice on how to start an art collection.
Brocket Gallery are hoping to raise £5000 to cover the costs of our printed literature, signage and to go towards the installation materials such as wood and hanging equipment.
The concept behind this venture is to celebrate every aspect of printmaking - from etching and lithograph, to woodblock and screen-printing. Emerging artistic talent will sit alongside established practitioners with an incredible range of prints for sale and exhibitors with an unsurpassed knowledge of their craft. There will be prices to suit all pockets and original prints that appeal to both longstanding collectors and people looking to buy their first original artwork. Interactive demonstrations will also offer visitors the chance to learn about the practice of printmaking and what to look for when starting to build their own collection. WCPF embodies the style, innovation and craft of the luxury art market whilst engaging with a wider audience than ever before.
Risks and challenges
If we are unable to raise the correct amount of funds, the fair mightn't be executed to the best of our ability and for the best interests of the exhibiting artists. However, the fair will still go ahead and we will still promote these skilled and innovative printmakers.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
