About this project
One night a shopping centre is attacked by a sinister force, those inside fight to survive while an outside world parties. Nothing is quite what it seems, nothing is straightforward, relationships are forged, trust is broken, and something truly evil and unexpected takes an upper hand. The ultimate battle of good and evil has begun... Death Walks.
Our movie stars Francesca Ciardi (Cannibal Holocaust), Lucinda Rhodes (Fall Of The Essex Boys/Dream Team/Cavegirl), and Jessie Williams (Tracy Beaker Returns, The Dumping Ground). It's an ensemble piece with 21 leads, all encounter different scenarios, each equally as dangerous.
Death Walks was shot for absolutely nothing, everyone and everything involved in the movie came free of charge. Even editing, visual effects, and opening/closing credits will come free of charge. What we cannot manage to "magic up" however is submission to film festivals, this costs even if the film is rejected. We need to raise money to submit the film to the major global film festivals.
Over 14 nights (and one day) of shooting over 1800 became involved in Death Walks, some with an acting background, others had never acted at all. We used a known cast, staff from the shopping centre we shot the film in, and hundreds of local volunteers who all felt they wanted to be part of the project.
We want to make history with Death Walks, by not only making it off our own back without funding, but then to find our own route to market without selling it cheap in the hope it gets big distribution. By going it alone we can get the film into a multitude of countries and generate interest in the project. Any money made as a result of the film, will go into a fund designed to help new filmmakers make their dreams come true.
If you watch the trailer above and think you see a weakness, or editing flaw we want you to know, this is deliberate. Death Walks is a complex, twisted, and unexpected adventure, we promise you this is something you will not have encountered before.
Death walks is complete, but in order to get the film across the globe we really, really need your help. Even if you can donate a minimal amount it means all the hard work of everyone involved stands more chance of getting where it should be.
