Post-Campaign Update #25: PDF on DrveThru/RPGNow & Print Status
Happy Halloween Everyone!
The PDF of the Core Rulebook is now available for sale on DriveThru/RPGNow. Everyone who backed at DIGITAL or above should have received an email via RPGNow with a link for a complimentary copy of the PDF. This PDF is slightly different from the one I sent out a few weeks ago as it includes the Venus & Mars maps as well as a backcover as part of the PDF. If you have not received a message from RPGNow please double check your spam/junk folders and if you still don't see it please drop me a line and I'll resend the code to you.
If any of your friends who missed out on the Kickstarter would like a copy of the PDF please point them towards the RPGNow store... http://www.rpgnow.com/product/139315/Space-1889-Core-Rulebook?affiliate_id=384252
The Printed Book
Patric managed to surface from his post convention 'con crud' to send me an update on the physical book. It is currently at the printers although was delayed a little due to the volume of books that the printers was printing for both SPIEL (a games convention in Essen, Germany, that attracts @ 150,000 people!) and the Frankfurt Book Fair (a large international book fair). Most of the German RPG Publishers and Novel Publishers use this company so they're kept very busy. Patric hasn't heard back about the files but they should all be fine (in which case he wouldn't hear back about them anyway) and once we know the exact delivery date to the German warehouse we'll let you know immediately. Once the books arrive in the German warehouse they'll then be sent on to the UK and US warehouses and we can start sending them out to everyone according to the delivery instructions you gave us.
Moving & Indiecon
On a personal note, I'm moving this weekend so won't be online for a couple of days. As the move is taking place on Sunday it shouldn't really be an issue but I won;t be working on Monday as we have to travel back to Swindon to do a final clean and hand the keys back. We now have a dedicated office and warehouse in Southampton though so that will be a massive improvement going forward. On the back of the move we also have Indiecon (http://www.indiecon.net/) here in the UK which runs from 6th to 9th November in Naish, Dorset. Mobile signal there is appalling (and non-exsistent in the trade hall) so I'll probably only be able to check messages first thing in the morning and later in the evening when I'm back at the Lodge accommodation. If there are any updates during that time Patric will post them up and the move and Indiecon certainly won't be delaying any of the production process so no need to worry about that.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and Happy Halloween!
