Reid...you were such an inspiration to me when I worked with you in Middle School and you continue to be an inspiration. Your courage and determination bring tears to my eyes and my heart swells for you!! I always knew you would become a leader someday...but then you have always been a leader. Best of luck to you in all your endeavors. I am so proud of you! Laurie Waterman

You are such an inspiration and I'm so excited for other people to see who you truly are and what you are made of. Mom, Dad, Becky, and I knew you would make your mark one day. Don't think all of this means Becky and I will stop bashing on you now though :).

Like you once said, "Struggle is inevitable yet temporary for those who chose to overcome it".

      Love you,
      Sam

      Reid,
19 years ago and right out of college I began my teaching career with the Bethel Public Schools in their preschool program. I had the fortunate opportunity to have you in my first class. I think back to those days-not so long ago-and I see you with your bandana and your engaging and constant smile. I can't tell you how much you taught me; not only as a teacher but as a student. Although physical activities and mobility were often more tricky for you than your classmates, you were ALWAYS determined to not only meet the challenge-but exceed it. I can tell this attitude has stayed with you! I was so proud to read about you at your graduation from high school and all the success you found there. It is truly amazing to see how strong you are-you take any challenge and turn it into something positive. Maybe the lesson here is that you were meant to do more than just study abroad-maybe you are meant to help “expand the world” for others with mobility challenges. My wish for you is to continue to do what you are doing. You are a very special young man who is a great role model for others. You have done this teacher proud! Congratulations.
      All My Best-Mary Kirrane Worster
