Lots of things in Izle are procedurally generated, randomly created. The content of each island and its layout, the enemy artificial intelligence, your quests, the dungeons, and items from chests, all are random. But you’ll still have a lot of choices. On a strategic level you can decide to terraform a new island on a specific bonus, and that could give you more crafting resources from a certain element (the element of the island you’ve built) or an additional weapon or armor of this element. In term of character abilities you are able to choose which ones you want to use without any restriction, and if you really want a particular item you can always craft it, or buy it from a vendor. So we want you to make meaningful choices, but we also want to create random situations that surprise you (surprise is fun!), and that inspire you to improvise and master different aspects of the game.
