About this project
Anachrony is a competitive, epic Euro-style strategy game with worker placement at its core, set in a grim future where Earth has been rebuilt along four different ideological Paths. The game is played through a series of Eras, with a time travelling twist - players can use Time Rifts to reach back to earlier Eras as the game progresses.
Players assume the roles of iconic leaders of the four ideological Paths, striving for the supremacy and prosperity of their people, and do everything they can to prepare for a game-changing event: after the fourth Era, an asteroid impact shakes Earth, threatening to destroy the World Capital, New Earth’s last independent city. When the time comes, the Paths can take their part in evacuating the collapsing Capital. In the end, one of the Paths will be the new home to the reformed World Council, and lead humanity to a brighter future.

Innovative worker placement with Exosuits
While your Workers can operate safely within your Path's perimeter, venturing out to a desolate, post-apocalyptic Earth is a dangerous undertaking. In Anachrony, you can use four different types of Workers, and certain Actions can only be used if they are protected by powered-up Exosuits. Workers and Exosuits are managed as separate systems, and both are required for success.
Resource Management through Time
Anachrony's smart time traveling mechanism allows players to request resources from their very own future at the beginning of each Era. These resources can greatly boost their progress, but as time passes, they will have to complete the loop by sending that resource back to their own past - the earlier turn. Failing to do so is a dangerous endeavor that may result in temporal Anomalies tearing up the present!
Prepare for a game-altering Impact!
In Anachrony, you are striving not only for your Path's supremacy, but also to overcome an impending cataclysm. An asteroid is heading towards Earth, and its impact will be a game-altering turning point, changing available actions, opening up new ones, and initiating the countdown to the endgame. With careful planning, however, players can take advantage of the Impact's effects - or even mitigate them completely!
Our rulebook is currently available in English, and during and after the campaign, we will be translating it to other languages. Please note that the rules are about 90% final, so may be subject to minor changes.
The game will be shipped with printed rulebooks in English, German and French. The rules will also be available in digital form in Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Croatian and Hungarian after the campaign.
Apart from the rulebook and some flavor texts, Anachrony and both its modules are completely language-independent.

The Follower Box will be the retail version of Anachrony, featuring the full base game, the Doomsday Module, and Stretch Goals.
The Leader Box contains everything from the Follower box, plus the Pioneers of New Earth module, the Exosuit miniatures, an exclusive box sleeve based on your chosen Path affiliation, and all Stretch and Path Goals.
The four Paths are a very integral part of both Anachrony's theme and its gameplay. With the Path goals, we would like to give you the opportunity to further immerse yourself in the world of Anachrony. Now you can truly become a affiliated with to your chosen Path - and compete with the other three!
With your Leader Box, you also pledge your allegiance to one of the four Paths, and receive your game with its exclusive Box Sleeve. But that's not all - you also help your Path gain an edge in the race for the Path Goals. Based on the number of backers for each of the four Leader pledges, each Path will individually unlock new Leaders, Adventure and Experiment cards - on top of the Stretch Goals!
All content unlocked via the Path goals will be included in every Leader box, not just the respective Path's. Unlocked new Leaders will be also included in the Follower Box.

How to add Trickerion to your pledge?
- Press the "Manage Your Pledge" Button. If you have't pledged yet, you will have to choose one of the pledge levels first.
- Increase your pledge in the 'Pledge Amount' box by the total price of the add-ons you want to add, plus the shipping price, if any.
- Please fill out this 1-minute form - it will help us keep track of the quantities even before we send out the backer surveys.
- After the end of the Kickstarter campaign, you will receive a survey where you will be able to tell us in detail which add-ons you bought, as well as your exact shipping address.
We do not want you to wait for Trickerion until Anachrony is ready to ship, so we will send out the backer surveys early - a few weeks after the campaign. You will be able to submit your shipping address early for Trickerion's shipping, but still have the option to change it in the survey later if needed, right until Anachrony is ready to ship.
*The Dahlgaard's Gifts addon pack contains the Magician Power cards, the Duel of Magiciians, the Meeples, the Trickerion stone and additional Special Assignment cards. If you backed the Legend box during the campaign, you already own its contents :)

One of our top priorities in this project is to make shipping as affordable and straightforward as possible. We believe the fairest way is to charge shipping costs during the campaign, not afterwards, and we already have accurate shipping quotes in place to do so safely.
Fulfillment will be done from within the US, EU and Canada, so if you live in these countries, you won’t have to pay any duties or taxes. We offer a heavily subsidized shipping cost everywhere: shipping to the US is free, to Canada and all EU countries is $8, and everywhere else is $30. It’s that simple!
Risks and challenges
Anachrony is a big game with lots of components, and games like that usually pose significant manufacturing and shipping challenges. That said, this is not our first campaign, and our previous Kickstarter-published game, Trickerion - Legends of Illusion, was of similar magnitude, so we already have experience in producing big box games on a high level.
For manufacturing, just like with Trickerion, we will be working with Panda Games Manufacturing. Those who backed Trickerion, or any other Kickstarter game manufactured by Panda, know that the quality of their products is top-notch, and that there is almost no limit to what they can provide in terms of custom components. This is exactly what we need for Anachrony, and we're 100% confident that our game will be in good hands.
Anachrony features 24 detailed, large miniatures, and this will be a new challenge for us. We are aware that miniatures can be a dangerous pitfall in terms of costs and lead times without proper planning, so we prepared everything we could in advance. We've been working on the minis for months - the 3D models you see here are already the result of lots of fine-tuning in cooperation with Panda, and we have a precise cost calculation for them as well. Panda should be ready to start working on the molds during or immediately after the campaign.
We have learned very valuable lessons with Trickerion's shipping. Because top-notch fulfillment is extremely important for Anachrony (a big box game with delicate miniatures) we will be working with proven partners that can ensure not only the timely delivery of the game, but also proper packaging and regular communication. We've been very happy with Ideaspatcher's services for the European and Non-EU/Non-US distribution, and are glad to continue working with them. For the US, we will be using new fulfillment options, either Ideaspatcher or Funagain. In Canada, we will be working with Snakes and Lattes for a Canada-friendly fulfillment.
