Android and adaptation for visually impaired

Posted by Gato Salvaje (Creator)
Hi Kickstarters!! Today we have two special announcements to do: 1.- We need funds to port the game to more platforms, MacOS, iOS, Linux and Android. Android is growing fast: phones, pads and, now, even consoles, like OUYA are using it. We are very fond of the open source software, and we will adapt the game to be played in the OUYA platform. 2.- This is very special for us… Before we put the first episode in the market we made some proofs to adapt the game to be played for visually impaired. Point and click adventures are the perfect kind of game for that, but we concentrated in the game and we left those proofs for later. But weeks ago we received a phone call from a very special guy: Sergio Vera. He got blind 7 years ago, when he was 18. He bought the first episode of AR-K, and with his father´s help he finished it. He encouraged us to complete the adaptation because he wants to be able to play the game alone, as anyone else, because it is very difficult for visually impaired people to find normalized games. If we get our goal, we won´t do a special edition for visually impaired people, because the game will be the same for everybody, with a different interface depending how do you want to play it. We really believe that our project AR-K is worth, and we need 4.000 backers to make it real. Do you want to support us? Join the project!
