art+cause has teamed up with R.Black to create both an open-edition and limited-edition print. This is the first of a series of editions designed to present a visual representation of “change you wish to see in the world.”

WHO IS R.BLACK
R.Black has been a professional poster artist for over ten years. Getting his start doing underground club fliers, pin-up art and rock posters in San Diego for such acts as Elvis Costello, Souisxie and the Banshees, The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, The Misfits, Billy Idol, Ministry, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, The Cramps, DeVotchka and many, many more. All of which have culminated in the publishing of his first book thru Dark Horse Comics. Since moving to the Bay Area R.Black has been involved with many club acts, music promotions and ad campaigns such as The Fillmore, DNA lounge, Hubba Hubba Revue, Death Guild and Original Sin Hard Cider to name a few. Currently he is the artist in residence at Shotgun Players Theatre Company in Berkeley following his dream of creating theatre posters and mural work. At the moment R's work can been seen largely, virally, and globally with the poster art he has been creating for the Occupy Movement.
