Not only do you get a fun gaming experience, but you also help us grow as a company, allowing us to expand and provide more titles. We really appreciate your support!
If you pledge at our Turbo Twin tier, you also get a special reward: Carl (who did all the art) will draw a stylized picture of you (or an original character of yours) as a character in the game! Neat! But what does that mean?
When you sign up, you can give us a photo you want us to use as a reference, or you can describe what you want the picture to look like. Carl will use that picture/description to draw you as a kid character. We also have three abilities that you can choose from, different from the regular character abilities currently in the game! When you receive your copy of the game, you will also receive your custom character.
Here's the Neighborhood Nitro Racing version of Carl!
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse to draw specific items. Guidelines will be provided.
If you pledge at any tier, you will also be featured in our rulebook as a backer!

Our favorite part about this game is the theme. Having players build silly karts out of aluminum foil, milk cartons, and cardboard while throwing marbles and gum at each other represents a whimsical world we want to be a part of. Growing up, we enjoyed playing games and racing around with the other kids in the neighborhood on scooters and skateboards. This is an homage to a simpler time in our lives where the goal was to have fun, where it did not matter who won or who lost (after perhaps a few minutes of grovelling), where a powerful imagination made life less boring.
We hope that this game transports you back to that time when you were a kid playing games with strangers two doors down. Or, if you are still there, maybe it will inspire you to go play outside and meet the other kids on your block. Just make sure to use parental supervision if you're going to build go karts!
We have designed some stretch goals to make it enticing to purchase our game now. Please stay tuned for more information!
Risks and challenges
This is our first project, so we're still testing the waters and seeing what we can accomplish. We are eager to learn and want to do our best to provide a quality, fun product to you all, but please be patient if we encounter some wrinkles. We've done a lot of research and have plenty of experience in customer service, sales, business, logistics, and of course, board games, so we believe we can make this run as smoothly as possible.
We work full time in other jobs which keeps us busy, so as much as we'd love to spend all our time working to get this project to you, we need to spend some of that time working to keep a roof over our heads. But having two of us instead of just one will help us be able to respond to any issue with agility.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
