Throughout our journey, one theme remained constant with everyone we met—a profound love of this massive body of water. By surface area, Lake Superior is the largest lake in the world. We've had wonderful support from our friends and families, as well as sponsors to get us through the expedition portion. Now, with your help, we hope to produce an adventure documentary of equal magnitude that highlights why people truly love this lake.
So far, the primary budget for this film has been from our personal and meager bank accounts. We've taken it as far as we can go.
Funds raised here will go to pay for editing, sound mastering, music composition, visual graphics and DVD production. $6,000 will get us to our goal. Anything above our goal will go to boost our student-editor's income and make a better documentary.
As with all Kickstarter projects--It's All or Nothing---if we don't meet our goal we can't send out any of the swag. So get your friends involved!
The Superior Dream T-shirt, designed by Karl Engebretson, printed by www.undergroundprinting.com, and is a 50/50 cotton blend. The stationary and watercolor paintings are based on production stills and are original artwork by Maury Aaseng (www.mauryillustrates.com). Logo design was a collaboration between Karl Engebretson and Andy Westbrock (http://andytownusa.com).
Luke and I are lucky to be a part of some really amazing communities that have played a great role in helping this dream come true. Help us deliver our film by donating any amount and becoming a part of the Superior Dream!
