Announcing Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut

Today we’ve announced Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut, which will be heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month. We'll be following this up with a PC release later in the Spring.

The Director’s Cut features a restructured campaign – particularly relating to the first few missions, allowing the player to get in the cockpit of the Strike Suit much earlier - with an adapted story and all new dialogue. We’ve also given the game a complete graphical overhaul, including upscaled ships and updated textures and lighting. We’ve also included the Heroes of the Fleet mission pack, and both the Marauder and Raptor Strike Suits. We’ve taken a year’s worth of comments and suggestions on board, too, directly addressing the points of our community and critics.

To those of you that own the game on Steam already -- you'll be looked after. We'll be talking more about this - in addition to more concrete release dates - in the near future. Stay tuned!

Have a watch of the trailer for the game below...

In all honesty, i suppose its great for the devs, but bit of a slap in face for PC supporters when the DC gets to be released on crappy consoles first. For a game that was created (and backed for) PC's, how about making sure its not a crappy port back?.p.o.s consoles :/

It's looking quite smart. I hope this takes off in a big way this time. I can't help but feel that you might have wanted to go for something bigger sounding than Director's Cut - like Final Fantasy XIV did with A Realm Reborn.

Wow that was unexpected. Thank you for putting so much work in the game, even after it was released and shipped. Looking forward to play the restructured campaign.

This hits me from behind. non the less, I will be playing this on the ps4. I only got the pc version to support the idea. pc gaming is something I do not enjoy but the platform has a lot of things to my interest that I want to see grow.

I'd love to see some of these changes (especially the improved ships/textures/lighting) get ported back to PC, but I'm also super excited to grab this on PS4 down the road.

I'll be picking this up for PS4!

Excuse me, but wasn't the Marauder supposed to be Kickstarter-exclusive? What happened to that?

Will those that fall under the Strike Commander subscription be eligible for this?

Don't forget to upgrade the game for those of us who have our version of the game on!

Thanks for remembering to take care of us early supporters - kinda stung with the pricing debacle and all the content confusion. Still happy to have supported the project, and even picked up Infinity and the extra ship during sales; but it would be nice to be looked after with more than "here is a pdf of some art" or a 20% coupon...
