Earth needs you! Help us raise enough to finish Strike Suit Zero, and bring the space combat genre back with a bang.
4,484 backers pledged $174,804 to help bring this project to life.

Logitech® Extreme™ 3D Pro Joystick rewards – they’re back!

After the incredible popularity of the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick we added as a new tier last week (all twenty sold out within 15 minutes!), we’ve managed to secure some more! 400 more, in fact!

The new /ALPHA PILOT tier includes a joystick and everything from the WING COMMANDER bundle for $70. If you’ve backed at the /ACE PILOT tier already, we’ll be throwing one of our UNE t-shirts into your tier to sweeten the deal. Alternatively, please feel free to drop your pledge to the new $70 / $80 tiers -- you'll be getting the same rewards you originally pledged for, minus the t-shirt which we've just added.

For you guys and dolls outside of the US, there’s a separate /OMEGA PILOT tier at $80. The list of countries eligible for this reward are: Denmark, Belguim, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, UK, Austria.

Please note that delivery on both of these tiers is included.

Don't let them sell out again -- pledge and get yours today!

Just 5k to go until we hit our target! Again -- huge thanks to all those of you who have backed us so far.

Will Strike Suit Zero support other joysticks? or joysticks with throttle control? I'd love to use the Ace Edge (from ace combat 6) to control the thrust, slam the throttle down to turn into the mech and slam it up to speed away.

    2. Creator Nicolas Lallemand on November 3, 2012

      I guess "Belguim" is "Belgium"...

    3. Creator Kallimon on November 2, 2012

I just updated my pledge from wing commander to omega pilot because I just couldn't resist the itch of getting my hands on this joystick
I was just pondering if I still get my beta access even if I changed my pledge?

    4. Creator Born Ready Games on November 2, 2012

@HarryLuong -- we've put a lot of time and effort into all compatible control schemes, but for old-school space combat fans, there's something special about a joystick -- you really get that sense of immersion.

@light487 @roman @stephan -- delivery isn't handled by us, and - for now at least - we can only deliver to US, Canada and the EU countries stated. Apologies for this - the logistics aren't under our control with this one.

@Tom Jefferson -- it's not just US :) Canada and most of the EU are covered, too.

    5. Creator Tom Jefferson on November 2, 2012

Pity its only for the US.

    6. Creator light487 - Kickstarter Junkie on November 1, 2012

@Leigh - Yup.. I'll most likely play the game with keyboard mouse anyway.. I just dislike companies that leave Australia out of the equation. Have you heard of OzGameShop? They ship from UK, with free shipping, at half the retail cost within Australia. I just find it hard to swallow when I see other companies charging bucket loads for shipping or saying it's too difficult or expensive.

I also dislike the shipping model on KS where all the shipping is done from US even when the company is in Australia or NZ, as I have seen in other projects.

It's the principle of the thing.

    7. Creator Leigh Wilson on November 1, 2012

@ light487, it's not licensing as you can buy that joystick here so it's probably about delivery costs (which would be higher to here, granted). You'd probably be better off buying it locally, it's a $35 joystick anyhow and if it costs more than the omega tier you may as well just buy it now yourself, you'd only be saving $5 with the omega tier and that's if it were available to us.

    8. Creator Archon on November 1, 2012

Well, I think this is the first time I see an EU exclusive tier, and shipping costs are included ?!
      You got me, thanks !

    9. Creator Curtis Lam on November 1, 2012

This is great news! I will be sure to let my friend know, he was sad to miss out on the first batch.

I already have a HOTAS setup, luckily ;)

    10. Creator Stephan Bedford on November 1, 2012

can we get a tier where i can get a joystick delivered to little old New Zealand? :(

    11. Creator light487 - Kickstarter Junkie on November 1, 2012

"Can't" deliver to Australia? What is the reason behind that lack of ability?

I find this very odd.. is it s licensing issue on the joysticks themselves?

    12. Creator Harry Luong on November 1, 2012

Do you guys (Born Ready) recommend playing the game with a joystick? I've played previous space sims with keyboard & mouse, joysticks, and gamepads. The input that I use is kind of determined by how the controls are designed.

    13. Creator Roman Ondrus on November 1, 2012

So if I am from Slovakia (country between Poland and Hungary) I cannot go for the OMEGA tier? The list of "supported" countries is kind of strange.

    14. Creator Born Ready Games on November 1, 2012

Unfortunately, we can't deliver to Asia or Australia at this stage. Apologies! We'll look into this for the future, however...

    15. Creator Nigel Lee on November 1, 2012

@BRG Sorry to bring up a previous point, but what about those of us situated in East? (: (Asia, Australia etc.)

Should we pledge at the US level and add shipping costs maybe?

    16. Creator Cerxi on November 1, 2012

Ah thanks BRG. Deals upon deals o:

    17. Creator Born Ready Games on November 1, 2012

@Cerxi -- if you're from Canada, go Alpha.

    18. Creator Cerxi on November 1, 2012

Which tier does? The Alpha or the Omega?

    19. Creator Secretten on November 1, 2012

Ah, thanks for clearing that up!

    20. Creator r0estir0bbe on November 1, 2012

Thanks for the fast answer! I can't wait for the game.

    21. Creator Born Ready Games on November 1, 2012

@Alex Abbott -- yes, the tier includes delivery to Canada! :)

@r0estir0bbe unfortunately the joysticks are exclusive to the ALPHA, OMEGA and ACE PILOT reward tiers at this stage.

    22. Creator meiam on November 1, 2012

Yeah like alex I'm wondering about those of us living in canada, what tier should we grab to get it? I mean I'm pretty sure it's cheaper to ship to canada than to ship to europe, but it's still not the same as US.

    23. Creator Lorenz Jugel on November 1, 2012

Oh well, not like I needed those 80 bucks, anyway. Once, way back when I discovered this, I only wanted to be a Cadet. Honestly. Gosh-darn you all to heck. :)

    24. Creator Secretten on November 1, 2012

So, I cant get a joystick if I live in Canada? Shame.

    25. Creator r0estir0bbe on November 1, 2012

Dear devs, could you update your nice reward picture from update #5? Especially if every reward tier above $80 get's the joystick too - I guess probably not, right? ;)

    26. Creator Ricardo Cota on November 1, 2012

I'm part of the Fleet Conductor, if I select Alpha Pilot while still giving 250, do I get all of Fleet conductor while getting the Logitech Extreme?

    27. Creator Iddeen Khairul on November 1, 2012

      No Joystick for Asian?

    28. Creator Chawanat Nakasan on November 1, 2012

      No Asia :sad-bear-guy:

    29. Creator Josh Mathews on November 1, 2012

Thanks guys! Now to get the DLC extras!

    30. Creator Hadrien Debris on November 1, 2012

It seems like the delivery fee is not included at the 80$ pledge...

    31. Creator Born Ready Games on November 1, 2012

Hi Josh -- yes, you'll still be on the beta! :)

    32. Creator Josh Mathews on November 1, 2012

I was already one of the first 1000 to get the Wing Commander level pledge. Do I still get the Beta access?

    33. Creator Nigel Lee on November 1, 2012

What about non US/EU backers at the original ACE level? Can we back at Alpha and add costs for shipping?

    34. Creator samjaza on November 1, 2012

:-( only US, how about Australia.

    35. Creator Daniel on November 1, 2012

doh. disregard my earlier comment. I only looked at the 70$ option, didn't realise there was one lower down for EU backers

    36. Creator Daniel on November 1, 2012

      US only I see :(
