No. Our mentality was to be as non-intrusive with our design as possible.
We encourage you to know your limits, respect traffic laws, and always be alert (as if you were downhill longboarding). We also encourage you wear a helmet and other protection and be a responsible rider.
Kickr's straps will allow you to place the throttle pad on whichever strap you want and wherever on the strap you want (not shown in prototype). If you want the throttle pad towards the front of the board, you simply run the Kickr on the front of the board instead of the rear. The straps are about 5 inches apart.
