Have you ever wanted to take over the Earth but your friends have differed on how to do this? Did you ever wish you had a card simulator to decide who was right, and to have the right to yell "THE EARTH IS OURS!!" in your friends face?
Well, we had this issue as well. To solve this dilemma a game was forged within the confines of a dark and dingy garage. This game will pit the Benevolites and the Nefarians against each other to take over the world! The game can be played one on one or on teams up to 5 people per side. Yes, that's right 10 players! Your teammates will help defend your agenda on saving the world, just as your opponents teammates will try to destroy the world!
The Earth is OURS!! has players choosing sides and playing with their teammates to achieve the goals set on either side. With a 216 card arsonal at your fingertips you and your teammates will enter a heated strategic battle that will leave you in stitches as you strive towards your goal of global dominance, only to be thwarted at every turn as your opponents counter your actions with "I don't think so!" cards.
During game play each side strives to achieve a predetermined amount of points and aims to collect those points in each sector; Economical, Environmental, Industrial, Political, and Technological. The team that reaches the goal in each sector first claims the ultimate prize and shouts out....
THE EARTH IS OURS!!
Here's a quick look at how a typical game is setup to be played. Teams face each other across the table in an epic stare-down to see who will dominate the planet.
David Jacob Duke - "Shut up and take my money!"
Brian Whitfield - "The replay ability of this game is unmatched! I loved how the scenarios were so different each time! It made for hours of fun!"
Jay Barrette - "My wife and I brought our eight-year-old son out for a playtest event. All three of us had an absolute blast. We wanted to take a deck of cards home that day. This game is hours of fun for the entire family. I cannot wait to get a copy of my own. Perhaps one for the family cottage for those rainy days or chilly nights as well."
Moe Tousignant - "The Earth is Ours is a lightweight take-that team based game. One team is playing the Nefarians trying to take over the world. The other team plays the Benevolites trying to protect the world. Gameplay is fast and furious with one team trying to launch a project and then the other team attempting to stop that launch with defense cards. This goes back and forth until either the attack goes through or the project is defended. The interesting bit is that there are five different colours of cards and cards played to launch or stop a project must be the same colour.
The colours represent different fronts the battle for the world is being played on, Environment, Economy, Industry, Politics and Technology. A six player game of The Earth Is Ours! a new take-that style team based card game.
I played in two six player games and had quite a bit of fun. There are not a lot of rules but I enjoyed the cooperative team-based play. Players on each side are free to share any information but you can overhear the other team talking. This made for some fun interactions where you try to get your team to do something together without giving away the plan to the other side.
It’s awesome to play something designed by local gamers. The three-member team that is Krishada games are all right here from Windsor."

Jacob Van Dongen - "I've played this game. Wanted to take one home that night. It's very fun, easy to learn, any pace you want to play. It's just fun. I'd say help a local company out, but the game speaks for itself, local or otherwise. I can't wait until The Earth is Ours! Is mine!!"
And we will be adding More later on as the project grows!
Risks and challenges
This will be our first game to be published. We wanted to use Kickstarter to help us connect with a community that will love our game as much as we do. We will look forward to interacting through this whole process.
95% of all the design and artwork is completed and playtesting has commenced with citizens of the Earth from all corners of the globe and have given it a resounding thumbs up!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
