Howdy, friends and furs!
It's Pride weekend here in Seattle, and we've got so much to celebrate. Our campaign achieved an important milestone yesterday when it reached 30% of its funding goal. Why is 30% such a big deal? Because, according to the folks who analyze the numbers at Kickstarter, over 90% of projects that hit that magic number eventually succeed in raising their entire goal. We're going to make it!
But the 73 of you who have made contributions so far already knew that, and as a way of saying thank you, we'll be posting a scene from the Let's Pretend We're Bunny Rabbits script this weekend. This sneak peek will be available to backers only, so if you've been on the fence about making a contribution, now is the time!
Thanks also to our brand new international backers Daniel Granot and Elif Cetiner, who weren't able to use Kickstarter from their home in Australia, but still found a way to make a contribution. G'day, dear friends from Down Under!
Of course, we still have the tough task of raising the other 70% of our goal, and just 16 days left to do it. Want to help? Post our Kickstarter link to your Facebook page, send it to your Twitter followers, and share it with friends.
In the meantime, our fearless leader Chris Diani will be securing contributions the old-fashioned way: by suiting up and hitting as many Pride events as he can! If you're in Seattle this weekend, look for a bear at CC's, a beaver at the dyke march, a bunny at the downtown pride parade, and a pig at the Cuff. It's going to be a furtastic weekend!
