About this project
About this project
Friends, family and fans,
Rodeo and Juliet are Christopher Dwight and Janet Lee Harris. They are an American Roots singing duo from Nashville, TN. The adventure continues with Rodeo and Juliet's new recording project titled The El Paso Kid and The New York Lady. We want to try something brand new. We want to give you the opportunity to make the recording happen by pre-ordering your copy.
We are using Kickstarter to start the pre-ordering process, as well as to give you an opportunity to be an important part of the continuation of The Adventures of Rodeo and Juliet. The money we raise will be used 100% to create it. If you want to be a part of this process, just decide how much you'd like to contribute to the project, then select the gift you'd like to receive once we've met our funding goal. Kickstarter is great because it gives us the most freedom to manage our career and brings us, as artists and you, the fans together to create artistic products.
More detail about the project
The El Paso Kid and the NewYork Lady is the continuing musical journey of a Texan and a Yankee, crisscrossing the country, singing about the peaks and valleys of hanging in the last 33 years together. We've been co-writing with Grammy award-winning songwriters Wayne Kirkpatrick and Phil Madeira to get ready. Some of the song titles are "You, Me and the Moon", "Good Enough (for June and Johnny)", "Doris Day" and "You Drive Me Crazy". We'll be recording at Ocean Way, Blackbird and Omni Studios in Nashville with an A-team list of musicians and engineers.
When will this project be ready?
Our goal is to have it ready to submit for the Grammy Award Nominations deadline and an October 1, 2012 release date.
